CBNC17 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 I am a man, 18 years old, and about to start college in a couple weeks. I just got back from college orientation and i met this awesome girl. She gave me her name and told me to look her up on facebook. I saw her a few more times at orientation and we would exchange smiles and say hey. She was always with her room mate though and we wouldn't really start up a conversation. After I got back home I sent her a message on facebook and asked if she had unlimited texting since she lived all the way in Massachusetts and I live in North Carolina. She gave me her number and we texted a little bit yesterday. The whole point is I don't know if she likes me or how i can transition this into somewhat of a relationship. And how often I should text her to keep her interested but yet I dont want her to think I'm obsessive. Please help.
JustinWolf Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 You should text a lot to show her that you like her but you should text her less because you don't want her to think you're some crazy obsessive guy. You should make lots of jokes to make her laugh but not too much because otherwise she's going to think you're not serious. You should smile often to show her that you are a happy person but you should show her when you are sad to let her know you are opening with with her. Complicated? Yes, relationships are. lol You should just text her enough. Get busy at the same time so you don't have to make up reasons to stop texting her sometimes. Call her from time to time, let her call you. Just take it a step at a time and don't expect anything.
