Lauriebell82 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 My bf and I will celebrate our 2 year anniversary in about a month. Any ideas on how to do it? We have some things in mind but I was just curious to see about some recommendations. Maybe some suggestions that posters have done in the past.
Taramere Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 A weekend break. Admittedly not the most creative suggestion, but some of my best memories are of weekend breaks. Get on the train and go to some little town that can become forever more "your place".
xpaperxcutx Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Congrats LaurieBell. I've personally never even celebrated my 2 year anniversary let alone made it past through the one month mark. ( i'm terrible at LTRs) but that's so nice to hear that you guys are making it to 2 yr. You should definitely celebrate it with a weekend getaway followed by candlelit dinners and hottubs and jucuzzis.
Nemo Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 It needs to be something fun, and memorable. If you haven't already incorporated the intense and unique pleasures of anal penetration into your sexual repertoire, then this seems like the perfect time to bring it into the mix.

We thought about a weekend getaway, but the problem is that the places around the area to "get away" are commericial spots where the hotels are through the roof expensive. That combined with gas we would have to fork out a lot of money. We both have good jobs so we could check into it. A hottub would be sooo awesome!
Lishy Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 I know, both turn your phones off and get naked and forget the rest of the world!!!!! Forget about the anal ........ that hurts!!!!!!!!
Arise_Serpentor Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 do some research on your city and find something free and fun!!! Maybe like a wine tour or go to the zoo!!! Sounds like money is an issue, so you can get creative! Maybe rent a whole movie series like die hard and watch them through!!!
Lishy Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Nooooooooooo - No movies!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the best way is sex all day and only stop to eat cake! Yay
Arise_Serpentor Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 no movies!?! That depends on the couple! Maybe they don't like cake! but the all day nude thing sounds like fun!!!
Lishy Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Cake and sex followed by ........ Sex and cake! Get cheap cakes and splash out on squirty cream (not for the cakes )
Arise_Serpentor Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 woah! Lishy! you are some sexual person! you man must be lucky! You might be too much for me! Maybe the couple could do a project together, like plant a garden and install a plaque!
Lucky_One Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Look for a B&B in your state. You should be able to find one in a teeny town close to where you live. I started dating a guy a few months ago, and we actually spent the other weekend in a tiny town called Jim Thorpe, PA. Great room with a jacuzzi and fireplace in the small historic district. We spent some cozy time in bed and in the tub, and did some exploring in the area. It was lots of fun, and not overly price-y. Lots of good memories!

We are going to have to check into that. I'm sure there are some nice little B & B's in PA. I ran it by my bf and he agreed that we should check in to that. Depending on the price, we still wanted to get each other some gifts for our anniversary also, I actually was planning on getting him this dvd set he really wants. He keeps asking me what I want, and I have no clue what to tell him. I did suggest nice earings from Kay Jewelers, and he knows I enjoy getting jewelry from him. Thanks for the suggestion!
