sweetbutcheeky Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 A girl friend and I were talking about her lavalife profiles and the number of people who have viewed her. In her dating 37, relationship 12 and intimate 285! So by those numbers we were wondering if more guys out there want just sex, vs dating and relationships. So guys agree or disagree? Ladies what do you think? I would hope not (cause you do get some in a relationship!) but looking at the numbers, makes you wonder!
Lizzie60 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Yes 'Intimate' is the most popular ... I always had more 'views' from Intimate.. than any other.. Most men on there just want to have fun..

HeartLikeLead Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 here is a primer: lava life = adult friend finder lite match = mix of horndogs and sweethearts looking for true love eharmony = men who want marriage NOW
OpenBook Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Yes, all men "out there" just want to have fun. It's when they unexpectedly fall in love with you that your problems begin.
Author sweetbutcheeky Posted July 25, 2008 Author Posted July 25, 2008 Yes, all men "out there" just want to have fun. It's when they unexpectedly fall in love with you that your problems begin. So do you think that you would have better luck meeting someone for something long term in intimate than dating or relationship? I'm not saying sleep with the guy and hope he will fall in love with you. I mean be in the section and maybe if the guy knows that sex if one of you interests he will be interested, will want to chat, sparks ... Well that's one theory of my girl friend, I'm not so sure.

Yeah I'm not sure either. I mean, wouldn't it be kind of like lying about your own intentions if you're there looking for a relationship? I mean, guys who say they are ready to have a relationships are just so much easier to have relationships with.

No freaking way. lavalife is for getting your freak on.
Author sweetbutcheeky Posted July 25, 2008 Author Posted July 25, 2008 Yeah I'm not sure either. I mean, guys who say they are ready to have a relationships are just so much easier to have relationships with. Well I can kinda see her logic, if you want sex and a relationship. And finding a guy who says he wants a relationship is harder to find. No freaking way. lavalife is for getting your freak on. Lavalife is soooo boring.. *yawn* I wasn't really asking about lavalife. I was asking about in life in general, all men.
HeartLikeLead Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 men are always thinking about SEX. Thats how humanity perpetuates itself. doesnt mean they all act on it.

Kamille Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 I wonder if guys do the opposite of what you describe: say they want a relationship because it helps them meet more girls (even though they aren't available for a relationship).
xpaperxcutx Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 I've never heard of lavalife... One thing to keep in mind... all men usually think with their penises first.... then they consider relationships.

JohnnyBlaze Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 And I thought it was girls who just want to have fun! What about offline, all men everywhere.? Do you think the same goes? Most guys aren't that different online than what they want to be in real life. They're a little tougher (a 'la "virtual balls") but the attitude is the same. If they're players online, that's either what they are openly in real life, or what they want to be and just don't have the cojones to show it. Of course, in that same vein, if a guy's nice and friendly online, there's a strong chance he's nice and friendly in person. Naturally some rats will fake being nice (they'll do it online and in person), but I'm just talking about the regular guys, not the Bernardo's and Gacy's of the world. Those sickos are a whole different matter. It's just the perception of what's out there. The guys who want something serious are usually one of two types: the ones who are forward and already have a steady, and the guys who are shy. The shy ones are (understandably) lost in the mix by the boys looking for some action. The same one that tries to buy you drinks all night long at the club is the same one who's flooding your inbox. So yeah, the good/nice guys do tend to get lost in the crowd. I'm sure the good/nice girls go through the same thing. here is a primer: lava life = adult friend finder lite match = mix of horndogs and sweethearts looking for true love eharmony = men who want marriage NOW So Match is where all the sweethearts are! I'll have to check that out (and for the record, no, I'm not a 'horndog'). Good lookin' out! Yes.. sex is always top for men. Top, bottom, behind, wherever! ...it was too easy. I couldn't resist. Lavalife is soooo boring.. *yawn* And what would you suggest instead? I've never heard of lavalife... One thing to keep in mind... all men usually think with their penises first.... then they consider relationships. [i'm really going to Navy SEAL myself here. To all the guys who wanted to say this, but saw the inevitable backlash, I just ask one favour: say something nice about me at the funeral.] You mean to say that girls don't? (Metaphorically speaking, of course.) I have yet to overhear any girl in a bar say to her friend "wow, check out the loving heart on that guy". It's hard to have a lasting relation with someone you don't find physically attractive. I know women are the same way in this respect; us guys just tend to be a little more blatant about it (as we are with pretty much everything in life). And I've been privy to a "girl talk" or two; when it's just you girls and you're being straight-up, you're even bigger horndogs than us guys!

JohnnyBlaze Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Thank you! I do like to amuse while I'm opining.
