Original thread is here.

Now, if you read through that, you'll see... I was done. I pretty much moved all his crap. Things deteriorated and it became a biotch to deal with his shyte at work. So I called him out on it and 'requested' a mature discussion about the 'difficult' situation at work now (more like demanded really but he knew I was right about it).

Now bear in mind, I have to work with this guy. Not closely but he's in my dept. Right..?! Right. So work relations are paramount.

At the end of the 'discussion' we agree to remain 'friends'. Of course, given the history... we're not the kind of friends you can call up and maybe drop by for a coffee or dinner. We're just let's see now... yes, text friends. SMS friends. Every few days I got an SMS message - asking how I am and what I'm doing. I've educated myself enough here on Loveshack to see that this is a 'back-burner-girl' ploy of some sort. So I decide not to play.

In the end, I tell him my phone is broken and he can't message me. Miraculously he seems to 'discover' my landline number. Yesterday and today, I get phonecalls instead of SMS. Oh yesterday I got an email too.

Now, my issue is, I know for absolute certainty this guy is simply just.not.interested. He definitely isn't and is screwing with my head (or trying). But the other side of the issue is, if I go completely 'no contact' I'm worried he's going to throw his toys out of the pram again and things will deteriorate at work... and that I seriously do not need.

So guys, how do I handle someone who is being a total dick..? But remain polite and distant at the same time...?

Just to update you if you read this thread. I was patient, stayed NC and now he stopped texting, calling and emailing. Bliss. :)
