For those who haven't read my first thread, it's titled, "To Tell Or Not To Tell". In addition to reading my first thread, I wanted to add that the reason my sister cheated was because her boyfriend has been, and still is, incarcerated for about three years. All advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

Meaning he's in jail?

Hmm..Well, honesty is the best policy. If she wants to start her life off properly with him, she owes him the truth. If he finds out through the grapevine, from someone else, that won't be a pretty scene and chances are he'll hate her and leave right away. If she tells now, atleast he'll respect her for confessing.. He may forgive her, give her another chance.

The bf being in prison is a reason to break up with him, but not to cheat. If she don't wanna stay faithful, then get out of the relationship first.

Second point - people who go to prison are often violent, or become so. The last thing you want is some angry ex-con getting mad once he finds out his gf cheated while he was inside. This is really reckless, risky behaviour from your sister IMO.

Keep things simple - if you want to screw around, then break up. Don't lead someone up the garden path - even if they are a criminal.
