mortensorchid Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I have a crush on someone new. He was from the dual situation I wrote about the other week. I gave him a ring on Friday night as I was in his neighborhood. He came by where I was and we chatted for a bit. Afterwards we went over to his house. And NOTHING HAPPENED! I am a respectable girl! He was pretty lit by the time he got to the bar where I was. We sat up and talked for a long time. At the end of the night, we ended it with a kiss. And he did touch my ass during the kiss. The next day I text messaged him asking what he was doing that day. He said he was going to the movies. I texted back and said "Ok, have fun". Today, I was in his neighborhood and I gave him a ring. I went by his house and he took a break from mowing the lawn, we chatted for a while. Then I left him to go back and finish mowing the lawn. We ended it with a hug. No kiss. I went back to the event and met up with a few other friends. Am I doing the right thing? Should I be playing hard to get? Or should I back off?
Jilly Bean Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 It seems to be that you ALWAYS are chasing and pursuing guys. How about letting them be the boy for a change, and letting them chase YOU? I think you might see better results if you change the dynamic a bit.
MJR Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I don't think it's about who is chasing who. I think it's about how much you turn him on when he's sober and when he's "lit up".... Red flag.
Author mortensorchid Posted July 21, 2008 Author Posted July 21, 2008 Excellent point, MJR. I will back off and hopefully see him when he's sober sometime.
whichwayisup Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 hopefully see him when he's sober sometime. Let him call you, and make the effort. If he is into you and interested, he'll call.
