As for closing up, I strongly suggest that everyone read her previous threads and all the responses posted. Background really helps for a more educated opinion of what works with LB and what doesn't. She's spoiled and stubborn. Enjoy!

 

I agree. It's important not to read just this series of threads, but all of them.

 

I put a lot of time and energy in with LB, both publicly and through PM's. She's only NOT insulted when she's told what she wants to hear.

Whether this is her loss or not, who knows? It's no longer an issue with me. Maybe her original stances were correct for her personally. Most def. they weren't correct for her relationship and the dynamics between her and her b/f. The drama continues to escalate, per each situation. Hopefully the two can decrease the drama.

Wow, I didn't know that LS had so many licensed psychotherapists on board. Such authoritative posts! Several posters must have syndicated talk shows on relationships; they're such experts at such young tender ages, they must have begun dating at age ten and graduated with a PhD at 15! They not only know the intimate details of the OP's private life (and all the bits that are not posted on here), they are actually helping her by constantly berating her every move and dissecting every word to prove that the OP is a deranged emotional vampire with no sense of boundaries and only THEY can save her from her own self-destruction.

 

Seems like most of these responses have denigrated into a snarling pack of internet hounds who get a kick out of exercising their “expertise” on some hapless stranger because in the real world, nobody give’s a rat’s ass what they think.

I'm an addictions counselor, not a relationship therapist or a liscensed psychotherapist.

 

It does kind of seem like others on this board think they know what they are talking about professionally though. Interesting.

It hardly takes a professional to recognize and point out selfish, bratty, controlling behavior. Last time I checked, those aren't conditions found in DSM-IV.

Is this anything like the bed races they always have in Olympia, WA, at Lakefair? There has to be a rider and a pusher - or 4 pushers for the bed races since the beds are so big. I'd be a good pusher. Been workin' out and have stamina to burn! I can just picture some big guy sittin' in a baby carriage with a binky in his mouth and a bonnet on.
