SKS is talking about having kids. That is different than just having sex.

Trust me.. 99.9% of the men contacting you on that dating site do not want to start a family with you.

Starting a "family" is social... lol you guys seem to want to over look that.

Ironically, I think that in a debate about whether men are meant to be in monogamous relationships or if it is "unnatural" your comments would seem very contradictory.

Again, what is behind our sexual urges? Why do I get horny when I'm ovulating? I know you don't want to see it, but it's right there.

we are totally off topic. we started talking abot interracial dating and we have now gone into AIDS, Africa, percentages... man i am just trying to find out which dating site i need to go to in order to show ShyGirl some attention... i'm waiting to find out.

Starting a family isn't social, why do some animals mate for life?

LMAO!!! Are you saying that animals aren't social? :lmao:

I think you need to think about that a bit more. Think about it in terms of reality, and not what you're trying to defend.

I'm not trying to say that people should date outside of their own "races" and such, or that it's wrong if people don't want to... it's just that you're reasoning isn't based on anything factual.

Come on big man, you know you would rather have Lizzie lol.

Expand on your comment about starting a family as I clearly misunderstood what you said, I assumed you were implying that mating for life was a social construct created by humans and its not naturally exhibited by animals.

i am trying to spead myself around - equally opportunity monogomist!

I never made a comment about starting a family. My only comments were about sexual urges and procreation.

Based on the comments you've made here, and the assumptions you've made here, it is very clear to me that you really do need to look up what science actually says about these situations you're trying to create theories for.

Furthermore, you don't seem to want to look at this outside of a social context. Rather, in a way that doesn't not include man made social structures. SOME say that man was not made to be monogamous, others say that he was because he is (in some cultures). Some say he's not because he cheats (or has multiple wives).

You can date whoever you wish, and hold which ever views you would like, but at least have an understanding of the science behind these things before you go into making claims.

You said yourself that we're designed to reproduce, correct? I get really horny once a month like clockwork, not because I saw a sexy man, not because I'm thinking "gee I want to have a baby". LIKEWISE, people are more often than not attracted to people of different shades because of the desire (which is biological) to be with someone who is not too close to them genetically.

I didn't say race... I didn't say ethnicity... I said shades, as in colors. (I didn't say all people either.) The same can be said for other features. YES, there are those who do like people of different races because it is taboo. Those people do exist. But there have been studies on this and you should probably look into it. There are also social reasons why people pick a color. Sometimes because of racism with in a family or society.

But when you talk about those sexual urges, you're talking about something else.

Allot more people in Africa have AIDs then in US I would have a much higher chance of contacting AIDs in Africa then in the US, I'm not saying it doesn't exist only that far less people have it.

A lot of people in Africa (or at least in my country) got AIDS before the past 10 years. Nowadays Africans are more aware of it and how to protect themselves from it than most Americans, you better believe me. I constantly had to remind my (American) partners to wear condoms, and I'm African.

Bent, are you sure you know the stats? lol I dont think you want to debate this one..

Know them well. I am aware of the epidemic of AIDS on the African continent. As I am aware to the stats where I live(volunteer at hospice), no need to debate, it isn't that deep for me. Other than the racist statements made.

quote=Sks;1751672]Isn't that your purpose in life? To breed? All other things you do are based upon it.

Of course you look to breed with those who exhibit traits of health and strength, the traits of being a good mother or provider. People do things to try exaggerate those traits, IE breast implants in order to get hit on by more men leading to a wider selection to choose from for breeding purposes.

Why would you assume that my whole purpose in life is breeding? People might do those things, I don't. I have never felt the need or urge.

Yea you did make a comment about starting a family, and in regards to it starting a family is as much biological as it is social.

We are designed to reproduce but only with those who exhibit specific traits, I don't have a interest in reproducing with many females, only one.

You don't wish to be gang raped by 10 guys at once, well I assume you don't but some females enjoy that. You get horny but you are selective about who and how you wish to breed.

I don't find Africans or Indians attractive, tall and Caucasian somewhat skinny and a bit muscular is what appeals to me, most other Caucasian men seem to prefer this as well.

PS: Stop watching Africa on TV and go see for yourself. You'll find people live a much better life than your sweet self.

Because AIDs wasn't as much of a problem in America as it was in Africa, I believe a gay pilot originally brought AIDs from Africa into the US which caused its spread here.

I have precisely the opposite problem.

I am hispanic, and would NEVER date a hispanic girl.

But I have an even bigger problem: I don't date girls with brown eyes, period. Every girl I pursue has very light eyes, with a definite preference for unusual colors (hazel-green, hazel-grey), if I could hit it off with a heterochromic girl, I would be in heaven, it's almost a fetish to me.

This is a horrible affliction and I KNOW that there is something wrong with me for it but I can't help myself. It's just such stupid shallow **** and I can't let it go when I know that I should...

We have 2 sides of the same problem. We both need therapy.

- Do we date our own race just for social acceptance but secretly desire to be with people of different race?

- Do we genuinely like/love people of different race, or is it just our deepest dark desires to do the filthiest sexual acts with people of another race that makes us date them?

Shy, your so niave it's almost sweet.

Listen... just date outside your race a few times and you will learn so much!

Oh, and it has nothing to do with sex. I'm telling you as a guy, it has everything to do with culture/personality and very little to do with actual sex.

You're confusing two TOTALLY different things!

Do you have sexual urges towards women? More than one? Why is there more than one woman who arouses you? Why is there more than one woman who arouses married men? Arousal comes from were? Some deep desire to procreate, correct? Even if we don't follow through with sexual acts. Even if we use protection and try not to get pregnant. It is biological.

As women age, what happens? They lose moisture, and often the urge. Why? As they get farther away from the period in which they can reproduce, they often lose their urge to what? Have sex!

If you can't follow that, then you're just not wanting to.

What makes curvier women more "appealing" on average is what science likes to call our "primitive nature." She can carry enough milk, she can survive delivery, etc... healthy, good genes, and blah blah. We don't figure in "well, maybe if she starts taking a multivitamin" as attraction does not work that way. The same goes for women and what they're attracted to. Yes, these days, a lot of it can be social.

But when you're talking about sexual urges and arousal, you're talking about a different matter. And regarding such things, people who are attracted to people of different shades (just like those who are attracted to people with other physical features which are different from their own) are so because they are more genetically dissimilar!

Again... you really do need to read up on this.

The procreation goes beyond sex, we all have a deep desire to procreate but that desire is not simply sex, its the creation of a healthy, stable family and ones ability to take care of the offspring that were created.

You are saying everyone has the urge to have sex, I disagree. Everyone has the urge to procreate - those are two different things but one encompasses the other.

- I'd date anything

- I've been attracted to people of all races, and every time they seemed like the most beautiful thing in the universe.

Again, you're confusing two totally different matters. I didn't have a "natural desire" to have children and start a family. But now that I have children, I have a natural desire to protect and care for them, that is just as instinctive for me as eating when I'm hungry. That "family" desire, for me at least came after the family was here.

When you speak of the natural desire to care for a family, tell that to the women in court for child support, and to the 50% divorce rate. I can't understand how on earth you're comparing that to the reproductive systems to... oh nevermind.

You can disagree aaaaaaaaall you want, but your disagreement is not founded on a single thing that science currently understands, and it in no way disproves the actual studies (not merely someone's opinion) about attraction and genetic dissimilarity.

Now, you can go argue with those who have done the studies. I think I've made my point clearly. I can't force you to see it for what it actually is.

You wished to have sex to produce children, it was its intended purpose and birth control was a "cheat", divorce rates are really a problem created by society not by biology. Many animals mate for life including Apes, it is inherently instinctual.
