liteice008 Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 So it's been about a year since the break up, I broke up with her due to one huge problem that occurred. We dated for about 4 months. I felt we were going two different directions due to I was moving away and didn't want a long distance relationship. Now she is moving to the same area as I, and feel we should try being in a relationship again. We started talking about a week ago but am unsure if she feels the same about me as I do about her. I tried to set up a date with us alone, she accepted but at the last minute asked if she could bring her best friend, and the night became a six person game night. Is it too late to try dating again?
vivrantflo Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 You guys dated for 4 months.. That's no time. And you guys have been broken up for a year. That's quite a bit of time to be apart from someone. There's nothing wrong with you having interest in her, but she's not ready to be in a "date" setting with you yet. She wants to see you, but without the perameters of being on a date. She wants to feel you out in a casual setting, which isn't a bad thing. Go out with her and her friends, and start off by being her friend again. Don't propose a relationship too soon. Feel her out, and go from there. Good luck

Feel her out, and go from there. I feel as if when we are around other people she is more private. Hence why i wanted to go on a solo date, I did want to test the waters and see where she is now. In a group setting, I don't think I'm able to communicate well enough with her so we both can get to know each other better. I mean I can be friendly with her in front of her friends but feel awkward if I'm asking her questions about how she has been, etc.
