I'm having a tough time at the moment. I have someone in my life who will not go away.

She is posting awful things online, and saying terrible things in public. She is watching everything my family does and turning it into something sinister, no matter how innocent it was to begin with. We do have an attorney, and the good news is we have a hell of a case. She is pretty much doing all of the work for us.

Still, having your life constantly watched, your motives constantly questioned. It gets to be a lot of pressure, especially when you live in a small town. I'm constantly checking the local website, and doing searches to see what else she has posted about us. Our small town problem has made it into major papers in our state. My mom is a local politician, my family is fairly well known in our community. Everyone knows us, so all of this negative attention is hard to ignore.

None of it is true, and I know that. It does give me some comfort. Still do you have any idea how hard it is not to say so. To expose the lie, especially when you have all the proof you need. People are reading it, and it is about YOU?

It's horrible.

Does anyone have any advice? Something to help me make it through, calm my mind, and stop obsessing over the awful things this woman is doing?

I'm sorry to hear about this boshemia. The good news is that with a legal case pending, there will hopefully be a cessation of the horrible situation.

While I can't seem to personally meditate, I've heard that it can really help during stressful times.

Has your family considered some form of family/stress counselling?

I know my suggestions aren't the greatest. I do wish you some peace though.

I suppsoe the only advice I could give is to not read the website. What you don't know won't hurt you. It's all untrue anyway.

Good luck
