jerbear Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 She's too young and hot looking to be a GILF! Well I agree that you do younger than your age due to your petite structure and hair. Having a nice smile helps too. Stop clamoring to convince everyone that they look younger, TBF! (Thanks, you hot looking little minx...am I clamoring now?) And JB...Uhm, no. I'm not a grandmother. Not yet anyway. GILF my ass! So she says, fine your a hot MILF soon to be GILF. I still say you look good for an "older wiser" MILF. I would have to say that it is true that looking at how the woman's mom aging patterns can determine how she would age.

Where are you getting that?
Trialbyfire Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Aren't you 30-something jerbear? How can Touche be a GILF to you? Now MILF, yes, she's the mother of a preteen!
jerbear Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Uhm...thanks I guess. I'm nowhere near being a GILF though. Where are you getting that? I remember reading a thread but apparently I was wrong on the GILF part. Ok... after the avvie change... "GILF" Aren't you 30-something jerbear? How can Touche be a GILF to you? Now MILF, yes, she's the mother of a preteen! Yes.
cutegirl Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I think that looking fit - whether as a result of diet, genetics, working out, or a combination of all three -- is the #1 factor in looking good. I actually think I look my age, but people invariably think I am younger. I think this has more to do with the fact that many women my age (especially those who've had 3 kids!) are overweight and out of shape. Just saying that someone is "middle aged" conjures a negative image. So when you are in fact middle aged but are slim and fit and exuding energy... well, these are traits that are associated with youth, for the most part. I'm not complaining. Being fit is not enough, you also have to look "Glowing" like as if you glow from within and have no wrinkles/age spots/brown spots on your face but have smooth flawless looking skin. I am 30 and I have not one tiny line in your face and when I look at high resolution papparazzi pics I already see young celebs (such as LC from The Hills) at 21 having a lot of wrinkles under her eyes when she smiles, whereas I have none. It also has to do with facial features. Some people can be fit and have no wrinkles still have "old looking features". So all in all I am petite (barely 5 ft tall and under 90 lbs and fit), have no wrinkles, no hyper pigmentation/brown spots on my skin) and have a babyface. It is all these qualities COMBINED that make me look as young as I do. If someone is just "fit" that will not make them as young looking as me. You need to be fit, have no wrinkles (perfectly smooth skin) AND young looking features in order to be fit as me, plus you need to be well rested too. I always get enough sleep, I'm never sleep deprived so I never look tired. I also dont need to watch what I eat, I am naturally slim. I eat burgers/fast food all the time. Someone who is "just fit" will not look as young as me. Plenty of fit people look old, they have old faces, skin not as flawless as me. Someone who is just fit will never look as young as me. You gotta have it all, not just be fit.
Touche Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I get it. Yeah...it IS possible to see someone's pic without "looking" as you say. But only if you're an idiot who posts under a name that anyone can discover. I'm not that stupid. Hate to break it to some of you..but you once picked a name that wasn't so anonymous you know. Yep, I saw you and your twin. And I'll show more class than you did and I won't say what I thought about your pic.
cutegirl Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 What happened to my other posts? I think they got deleted. also, FYI, I only post under Cutegirl on Loveshack and I don't use that username anywhere else. I'm not an idiot, I do work on-line and I know most people are stupid and use the same username for everything, you can easily find their myspace, photobucket account, youtube accout, email addresses and everything else online with their one username. I only use cutegirl here because I know I post some crazy stuff on here and I don't want anyone I know in real life to know what kind of stuff I post, so I am very discreet about it.
Touche Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 OK, well I had it up and now just took it down. Hope you got a chance to see it, Touche. But you are pretty nasty to people, quite a bit, on here. Yeah, I'm a frucking bytch aren't I? That's why everyone hates me, right? Because I'm so nasty. Don't believe everything you hear. Oh and I saw your pic this time. Just like I saw it about a year ago.

cutegirl Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Umm...I didn't know this was a contest. You sound quite competitive with the other ladies on this thread. Are you serious? I never said anything about the other women in this thread, I was talking about in GENERAL, there are people that look old. I'm talking about people I see in the street etc. What does this have to do with "ladies in this thread?" All I said was if someone is fit, it doesn't make them look young, I never said it had to do with anyone else in this thread.
Touche Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Ok, fine. My face looks like a piece of leather. Happy now?
JP77 Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I think a few women on here need to have a good fecking, because the bitchyness on display is funny as heck.
Touche Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I think a few women on here need to have a good fecking, because the bitchyness on display is funny as heck. Ok then. Feck me.
White Flower Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I think a few women on here need to have a good fecking, because the bitchyness on display is funny as heck. Well, I did bring some info to the board about the benefits of orgasm but nobody listened...
McLovely Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I will add my name to the list of the genetically blessed. Thirty....ahem....something, and not one wrinkle! People consistently guess me as 10 years younger than I am. The key is to moisturize and use an alpha-hydroxy lotion every day, avoid the sun and always, always, always wear sunscreen, even in the winter. While physical fitness can appear youthful, often it's the slightly plumper people that look younger than gym rats. A little bit of fat can do wonders to keep the skin wrinkle-free. Of course, stay fit, but heavy workouts can age the skin very quickly.
bones1 Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 About this age thing.... First of all, if it is true or not, common courtesy dictates you ALWAYS act surprised when hearing a woman's age, and then guess a younger number.. So people say "Wow, you are 45? I would have guessed 35!". You never hear "Wow, you are 45, I would have guessed 53!" Secondly, some older women are very beautiful. Few wrinkles. Beautiful features, In shape etc. But most men, myself included, spend our entire lives looking at women everywhere. We will never confuse a 45, or 55 yr old woman for 35. There are just far too many tell tale signs that exhibit a womans age. Subtle signs from her hair, posture, legs, expression, smile, face, skin, hands, bottom, breasts, etc etc. A quick glance, and mental tabulation can tell the age easily, no matter how beautiful the woman..
StartingOver07 Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 A quick glance, and mental tabulation can tell the age easily, no matter how beautiful the woman.. The beauty of it (no pun intended!) is that women can be beautiful at every age. I don't get any less male attention now than I did 20 years ago, so either I am doing something right or men are able to appreciate a wide range of "beauty." Or both. Yes, the men are older now, but that's ok -- I don't have any interest in 22 year olds! I am also not surprised that most people in this thread look good/young for their age. This is what I would expect of the demographic drawn to Love Shack and to the Dating forum in particular. Further, people who look old for their age are more likely to pass by this thread without comment. That doesn't make the people posting here any less accurate in their self-assessment, although some people's assessments of others have left me stunned!
bones1 Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 That might be true about this thread, however I never , EVER, heard a woman say "Well I am 45, but I feel I look a lot older". Often times I have heard women that are 45 claim to look 35, and I have no idea where they are coming from. People look their age. Some look worse than others if they led a life of smoking crack, drinking, or abusing themselves. Some women seem to be too consumed with "not looking their age", and it seems those are the ones that are more insecure, and most likely will have a very hard time aging. I would much rather date a cool, fun, confident, and interesting woman with a few wrinkles(that can go out for a beer, eat italian food, go to the beach etc) than a health freak who obsesses 24 7 about her looks. I think most men feel the same.

What you'll find is that men and women in general are looking younger than prior generations due to more care put into their appearance. That certain people feel this is insufficient and have a need to knock it, is kinda' interesting, considering that they don't post their own pics to show the rest of us exactly what it takes to look more youthful! Criticize by example!
StartingOver07 Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 People look their age. Some look worse than others if they led a life of smoking crack, drinking, or abusing themselves. My earlier post is buried pages past but I said that I believe I look my age. However, others seem to think I am younger. I think this is more because there is a stereotype about what a middle aged woman with 3 kids should look like and I don't fit it. Some people are able to see that there are many different looks at 25 or 35 or 45, etc., while others seem to have a preconceived notion of what a particular age looks like and when someone doesn't fit that mold, they assume the person is younger. It sounds as though you fall into the former category. That said, I am not sure it matters nor that there is any objective way to prove this. There is an awful show on tv called "Ten years younger" that I made the mistake of watching one night. If nothing else, it proves that most people have no ability to guess age correctly! Rather than getting hung up on how old anyone else thinks I am, I put my energy into activities that make me happy and healthy. That's the best look at any age, imo.

Trialbyfire Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 This is true. But we are on a board of anonymity. We're not really on a board of anonymity. Conceptually, those who have a need to hide, can hide. Those who don't, can show themselves. Personal choice. Having said that, put up or shut up, y'know?
