HiItsMe Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Sure, might be a few posts on this, met her online actually, and she didn't have much of an age range criteria. However, upon first seeing her photo, she looked appx my age, maybe late 30's at the most. Friend of mine said she even looked that age. (I'm 36) Then I saw her age...50! I emailed her anyways, and we turned out to be pretty decent pen pals......for some reason I liked Or we both liked the content of our emails, and we just wanted to meet in person. Her pics didn't do her justice, she was very pretty. I think it's because she has some middle eastern or mediterreran (sp?) in her...all over natural tan, jet black hair. I mean, you could tell she looked "mature" but no where 50. And we kind of hit it off. Some of my friends met her, and I think that THEY think she's quite younger too. I think she's quite active in the outdoors, so that helps. Anyhow, we have a scheduled get together come this weekend. Anyone MEN here date a much older attractive woman?
JP77 Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 My elder brother is 28 and he is dating a 39 year old woman, she's very nice and attractive, but personally I wouldn't date a woman more than six years my senior. Anything over the late thirties is just too old IMO. Wrinkles set in, fim bodies turn to fat..erm no thanks.

JP77 Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 I think they are hot for as long they continue to hit the gym. lol Not for me, there's just something wrong (IMO) with dating women old enough to be your mother. Women generally lose it in their forties, some don't, but a lot do and I feel embarrassed for women in their forties and fifties when they are running around, behaving like they are 20.
bones1 Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 It can be fun, but probably not the best long term potential. I mean do you want your wife to be 60 when you are 45? Or 35-40?

AriaIncognito Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 If it feels right, go for it. I'm currently dating a man 17 years my senior. And yes, there are arguements for and against doing so. Have I thought about the fact that when I'm his age, he'll be in his 70s? Yes. However, life in general is too short to waste it on worrying about the distant future. At least that's my take on it. There are people who marry someone their age that end up alone when they are young due to other things, so why should I worry about it. If you're happy, then go for it.
bones1 Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Aria, it is much more common, and just makes more sense for the older person to be the male. I mean think of it.. Do you think you can have what you have with a man that is 17 years younger than you? Would your boyfriend be interested in a woman 17 years older than himself?

I had a "fling" with a 20 year old guy, I was 49. We both knew the score, and it was never meant to be more than it was, but it was AWESOME while it lasted. Now I'm 50 and "dating" a guy that is 46, but we have not "sealed the deal" so to speak.
jerbear Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Anyone MEN here date a much older attractive woman? Older women rock! With the exception of 1 or 2 women, I've always pursued older women. They tend to not play games and know what they want. The younger ones are still in drama mode with dreams of "fabio", a tiara, etc... the older ones, mid-30's are more grounded. Yeah there maybe baggage of being divorced, kids, etc... there are still older unmarried women without kids.
JP77 Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 . Yeah there maybe baggage of being divorced, kids, etc... there are still older unmarried women without kids. Who are single, undivorced and have no kids for a reason.

Heck, there are women YOUNGER than me (36) that have been married and done the divorce thing with kids...so it's neither hear nor there.

I know, one called me up to say "hi" wondering if I was single after she went through a divorce and had kids. She was under 36 at the time. I still think older women (older than me) rock!
Author HiItsMe Posted July 9, 2008 Author Posted July 9, 2008 Good be the best experience you'll ever have with a woman.. Question....why is that...? (I know, stupid question, lol) What is it I have to look forward to? Rather than the obvious I suppose.
Alpha Female Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Question....why is that...? (I know, stupid question, lol) What is it I have to look forward to? Rather than the obvious I suppose. As an older woman who dates younger men, I can tell you the biggest attraction from younger men, is that fact that with older women, there is no BS. We are over playing games, and have nothing to prove by doing so. Also, we are settled in our careers, settled financially, know who we are, and are also very comfortable in our own bodies and sexually. Not to mention our wisdom and strength that comes from experience. Ignore the negative posts on your thread. I get them too from the smaller minds who can't understand that a younger man can enjoy an older woman for something besides a quickie. Thanks for proving them wrong.
AriaIncognito Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Who are single, undivorced and have no kids for a reason. The reason for this could be that they placed other priorities first over getting married/having kids. Just a thought. It's such narrow mindedness to assume that someone who is single and "older" must have something majorly wrong with them. And yeah, go ahead and say I only say that because I'm single in my mid 30s. It's not really a valid arguement. Fact of the matter is, there are a multitude of reasons for people being single/undivorced and in their 30s/40s or even 50s. It's not our place to pigeonhole everyone into a negative correlation. Just my 2 cents.
bones1 Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Hiits.. You asked what can you have to look forward to. Some answers you receive seem to sound nice but do not mean anything concrete, and are open to interpretation. "Not playing games" "No BS" "Wisdom" "Strength" "Settled" etc With an older woman( 15-20 years) you won't have a family, won't build a life together, and most likely won't fully intersect into each others lives. Can you picture her hanging out with your friends? meeting your parents? Getting married? etc It can be fun to hang out, have sex, with no expectations on either side, if you meet the right older woman.
Lizzie60 Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Question....why is that...? (I know, stupid question, lol) What is it I have to look forward to? Rather than the obvious I suppose. Oops.. I meant 'could' not 'good'... typo... I think Alpha Female resumed it very well... we are not expecting anything... we are laid back.. we are not pressuring you ... it's just pure fun and good chemistry.

Who said he wants children and who is talking about getting married.. geezz relax... if you are so desperate to get married and have kids.. maybe not ALL guys your age are...
Alpha Female Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Who said he wants children and who is talking about getting married.. geezz relax... if you are so desperate to get married and have kids.. maybe not ALL guys your age are... Exactly! I have no desire to get married or ever have kids. And I meet many younger men who feel the same way. Some people really need to step out of the 1950's mentality. Lizzie - no worries! You and I know we are totally together hot older chicks who still get a lot of younger man action. In fact, I have a date with a yummy 32 year old tonight! He's almost too old... ha ha
bones1 Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Well I couldn't have said it better myself.. Older women are more thankful for sex from a younger man. As alpha said "You and I know we are totally together hot older chicks who still get a lot of younger man action." You rarely hear young women with this attitude, as everyone wants to have sex with them. The younger woman is seeking more, and the older women are easier, and even appreciative if you are good in bed. Free sex. See how many younger women will just invite you over for sex, then be thankful. Not nearly as many.

Alpha Female Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Hi - it comes down to your own compatibility with this woman. If you are attracted to each other, have a good time together, then who cares about age, right? I meet plenty of guys my own age, older, younger - if we have chemistry, that's all that matters, and that doesn't come with an age stamp. I wish you well with it!
