Hey guys, I'm new here! I'd like to share my story with the community before I delve in and start posting my own topics and replies.

I'm used to forums, I've been a member of a few for about two years. I'm fifteen years old, gonna be a sophomore (10th grade) in highschool next year.

If you'd stereotype me, you could say "emo" or "scene," as most people would say. I dress like that, tight chick pants, long hair covering face, studded belts, etc. Yes, I'm a guy (haha).

I like to consider myself more romantic in a way than most guys, as I put myself out to just be there for my girlfriend.

Yes, my girlfriend. I'm quite proud of my relationship, even though we've hit some rough patches sort of recently, nothing new. We've been dating for over a year, since May 27th, 2007. We've broken up twice (called "breaks" by her), her doing. Once in July last year (around the first, actually), getting back together on the 17th, the day before her birthday. We also broke up this past Mothers' day, May 11th, right before our anniversary. We got back together on June 6th, but celebrated the anniversary as if we had been dating.

She's got a few problems, but then again, so do I. Bipolar, anxiety, etc. But that's just one of the many reasons why I would say she's "the one" in my eyes. She had an abusive relationship (in many ways) a few years ago, and she's still coping with the trauma that it caused her. She recently stopped seeing a therapist after she wanted to put my girlfriend on Prozac (her mother and I had pushed for that not to happen, because of the side effects). She is now taking St. John's Wort (can anyone give me some personal stories on this drug, maybe?).

We're happily in love, however, despite the couple of break-ups and few fights here and there.

I really found this forum looking for PMS advice, as she is PMS-ing currently. I found and old topic from 2005, which gave me a lot of good advice. She gets bad PMS, and flips out at me for some of the stupidest things. Can anyone else help me out with this?

Thanks in advance. I hope to get to know you all well while I'm here!

The name's Alex, by the way.
