Robertliu9 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 My ex and I of 2 years were planning to have dinner tonight, a week after we broke. She msg me the night before and cancelled, saying it was too hard. I understand and its probably too soon, but she also said "I'd love to see you to sort things out" i've been trying to move on but what does this mean? Am I clutching at straws?
kizik Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 You can't move on if you're still in contact. That's it. No text, emails, phone calls, or seeing each other. Not for at least 6 months. More like a year or two. Sorry bud.

Why don't you ask her straight up what she means with this sort things out stuff then get on with your life. The best approach is a direct one and asking us what she means is only interpretation. Author Robertliu9 Posted July 8, 2008 Author Posted July 8, 2008 I don't think thats an option Justaman, we broke-up after a pull-away, cling-on cycle, and now that I recognise my mistake I don't want to appear too pushy and clingy so I want her to come back of her own accord. Bloody girls I hate guessing the meaning behind words.
Myzterio Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 What this means is, she rejected you but not that bad. I'm not sure what she's trying to do, might be one of their bloody games.

Bloody girls I hate guessing the meaning behind words. I'm not saying be clingy or needy I am just saying ask her what she means by her words. Being clingy or needy is constant calling, texting, emailing, flowers, cards and all that sorta crap after a break up. This is just a question for her to explain what she means by her own words. It's not a clingy or needy thing at all in my opinion. -Just
