I know alot of girls go by looks and i am tall and skinny...What kind of guys do you go after in the looks department girls?

Posted

Tall is a plus, women love tall men, me, I'm pretty short and skinny and women don't like me, so I guess, they like tall and skinny or tall and well built. It's ashame we aren't Roman's or Spartan's, the amount of women I could shag would be unlimited.

haha i know what you mean...i dont think all girls go for romans but i know alot that like muscles....Couldnt tell you why though

It's all about masculinity and the feelings of being safe. I mean if you are the fairer sex, with a petite body, you wouldn't want a skinny chap with no muscles, you'd want a Gerard Butler; a man with bulky muscles and dark, handsome looks.

It's natural, the more well built a man, the healthier, sexier and stronger he appears to hordes of googlie eyed women. It's something to do with children, some sort of mentality stuff...I mean Gerard Butler's children would be better than mine, because they'll be inheriting strong and handsome genes. As opposed to my, skinny frame and average looks.

There is another thread running where they mention that women like men who are well-hung:).

So tall , skinny and well-hung should be fine for most women:laugh:.

Better than short and fat!

I think most women kind of look for a "type", so go find a girl that wants tall skinny guys.

i am around seventy five kilos and just over six foot. I am pretty thin, i have never had problems with girls. Its all about attitude and confidence brother!

I go for tall and stocky or athletic. Skinny does not work for me. I would rather go for a short and stocky/athletic than tall and skinny.

Tall and skinny have a lot more options than short and skinny. :p

Exactly what I'm talking about boys!

Women often pigenhole themselves into a "type" and only date guys that fit into thier preconcieved notions. It's very prevalent in young women... and fades as they get older. Due to either experience, or desperation.

The lettering in bold is more likely and it's the same with men.

Judging by the bitter way you're comparing yourself with Gerard Butler, I get the impression that you're that hunchback that can't lift his shield:p.

Back on topic, tall and skinny is a plus because you got the height factor. If you're like me (5'6), the way to compensate for the lack of height is by being built. So off to the gym with you, JP.

Honestly more than anything to do with looks is personality and how you treat a woman...

I have dated drop dead gorgeous guys who were a holes and couldn't put up with them...

I used to care and now I just want to be treated well...

I am attracted to guys not just based on looks but personality...

And at this point in my life personality is way more important..

Tall and muscular. Skinny is a no for me.

I love tall and skinny guys. I don't like emaciated, but skinny is nice. I'm not a muscles girl, never have been.

I especially like tall skinny guys if they have an appetite, so I can cook for them all the time!

I swear your threads are trap questions for women!

Anyways...most of the men I've dated or been in relationships with, have been 6' or more, fit and lean. Yes, I do have a soft spot for this type but that doesn't mean that they're hard and fast rules 'cause they're negotiable attributes. And yes, I've dated both shorter and stockier.

I hate it when people judge books by their covers.

No, Im not tall and thin, Im short and pretty much in shape.

What difference does it make how tall or short you are, advantages or disadvantages?

It's a true shame that people are judged by their looks, not by what kind of a person they are. Grrrrrr

I've always been very athletic, but let me tell you... the amount of attention I have gotten from women in the last 2 or 3 years, since I started weight training, is like nothing I've ever experienced. The difference is like night and day.

I used to do a lot of long distance running, and weighed in at around 140 lbs. at 6'. Now I'm 150-155 lbs. You wouldn't think the 10 or 15 lbs. would make a difference, but it has. I've gotten more attention from women in the last 3 years than I had previously in my whole life. I never knew women would actually smile at a man before!

I can still kick out a mile in under 5 minutes, but I definitely ain't as fast as I used to be. Though I enjoy lifting weights, my heart is definitely in running.

Anyway, it's just a societal/cultural thing. No reason to deny it or get upset about it. It's just the way it is. Fortunately though, there are people out there with all sorts of tastes.

I certainly can't accuse women of being superficial, because I admit I am absolutely more attracted to fit, lean women, than I am to chubby/overweight women. So, I'm just as guilty. I've been totally crushing on these female Olympians (I've been watching the trails). These swimmers and runners are awesome, but I think maybe the divers are the best looking, in my opinion. Among the runners, I think the 200m girls looks the best. Maybe 1500m. Anyway, it's interesting how the body type for the elite athletes for any given sport is always very similar.

I think you said it perfectly. I know it's not politically correct, but I don't see anything wrong with having preferences in the looks department. The key is that they are "negotiable". I don't think someone is superficial unless they are exceedingly picky, and non-negotiable.

I think the other extreme, to deny that looks have any influence on attraction, is absurd.

Add in that what's inside of them will define how attractive they are and I agree with you. Some people can be drop-dead gorgeous but wow, the innards are rotten or empty, which drops their attractiveness to minus zero.

Makes me just want to bend them over my knee and spank them mercilessly!

Come on, Gerard Butler is just super handsome, I am average looking at best. Hey, I like being me, I'm pretty fly for a white guy, but I'm not super handsome or a ladies man. I never have been and I never will be.

I'm an inch or so taller than you and skinny, but I'm cool with that, I like my body, I think I have a cute ass and a nice frame. I am comfortable in my skin. I just need to man up a bit more with women.

Gym? I'd rather skinny dip and have sex, that's the best kind of gym work.
