I thought it might be fun to start this thread.

To name 10 things we can do for ourselves in the next 10 days

to ease the pain of what we're going through..One thing a day.

I'll start my list.

 

1. Download all your favorite love songs on your Ipod or Mp3.

2. Get a manicure/pedicure

3. Buy yourself some flowers just because you love yourself...or guys

buy something "manly"...lol

 

4. Take a "mini vacation" for one day during the week...and get

away.To the beach, or just go for a drive somewhere you don't

normally go.

 

5. Rent some of your favorite old movies and invite some frinds over

and have a 'film festival".

 

6. Call any people you have neglected due to your breakup and make

plans to do something with them.

 

Those are six I could come up with for now.....add any if you like!!!

I AM IN NO WAY BUYING FLOWERS FOR MYSELF!!! I spent way too much on roses several times on a $hit head!! But I am taking a mini vacation!!!

These things should be done all the time.. not just to ease the pain of a break-up.. we should always pamper ourselves...

 

Except for no. 6.. I regularly do those things... I love 'me'... ;)

Get a spa pedicure. I don't like to pay and usually do it myself, but every once in a while I will pamper myself with this treat.

1-spending time with friends and family whom I have neglected to keep closer contacts because I was too preoccupied with relationship and breaking up process.

 

2- Going back to the gym more regularly , biking and hiking more regularly because not only it's a healthy habit but also when we look better , we do feel better .
