iwish Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 This is more advice to everyone than anything else.. I had managed NC for 13 days!! My record.. And then i found out about her showing up for one of my work drinks, so i though sod it. I'm going to see her Thursday so i might as well make some offer of meeting up for a walk or something. So i texted her (brave aren't i!) and suggested a stroll, she ignored me for a couple of hours and then replied with she can't but see you thursday x. So i suggested we meet up b4 thursday so as to clear the air a bit, i mean the last time we were together we were having sex in a hotel, then 4 days after that she was having dinner with another guy. We text argued, she accused me of following her (madness) and that, apart from the birthday text was it. Anyway to get to the point, the lesson i learnt was that she was kind of expecting me to make contact. She actually said 'oh it's been two weeks, he'll be contacting me soon' and sure enough i did!.. To me it was an eternity to her it was nothing! My point is.. Is that if you've ever been a chaser like me (i did get her back at one point). Then they expect you to contact them. And when you do, what do you gain? absolutely nothing, just a little bit less respect from them. So stick to NC people. For your own sanity and to show them that you're not some predictable oaf!
