There are millions of people in my city. I should be able to find ONE!!! I am not ready to date right now anyway. I had been seeing someone over the last 2 weeks, but I couldn't keep seeing her. I am not ready to date yet. I need some me time.

Same here dude. Been out with a girl a few times, great girl, but I find I'm just not mentally in the moment when I'm with her, if that makes sense.

Okay, so were somewhat close in age.

So, yes the bar scene is tiring.

The bar scene is getting pretty old. I still go, but it is not as much fun as it used to be. I have never met someone at a bar that I would consider having a serious relationship with. I have slept with alot of women I met in bars though.

It makes perfect sense. I felt the same way being with this latest woman. I enjoyed her company and being with her intimately, but I felt like I was comparing her to the ex. After 2 weeks, I told her I was not ready to get into anything serious and I didn't want to give her mixed signals. It just seemed like the right thing to do. She understood and I hope we can reconnect down the road when this nightmare is behind me.
