Mimic Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 I invited a girl which I really like for dinner tonight. We have been together a few times but just as "friends", now I'd like to make her my girlfriend. Here are my questions: 1) How to work my way to a first kiss? 2) Do you girls have a sixth sense which allow you to know if a guy likes you and invites you with more in mind then just spending some time together as friends?
peace_pipe Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Make the moment and kiss her. Just do it. Take it.
Author Mimic Posted June 30, 2008 Author Posted June 30, 2008 Make the moment? How? That is just waht my question is about.
diesel1218 Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 How long have you been hanging out? What do you normally do when you hang out? Obviously if your hanging out by yourselves and doing normal couple things for dates, then I would take the moment and just do it. Although an easy way work it up is find out what she thinks of you two. Be truthful and up front, tell you you enjoy spening time with her. and see what she says.
stillafool Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Yes we know and if a guy was taking me out to dinner I would know that a kiss is coming at the end of the evening. When you finish dinner and take her home (or wherever you can be in private). Turn to her, look in her eyes (very seriously) then let your eyes fall to her lips, pull her to you and kiss her softly (with tongue). Trust me, she's expecting it.
BrooklynBridge Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Make the moment? How? That is just waht my question is about. Best way I can describe it, have you seen that Seinfeld episode, where they talk about having an awkward pause in conversation? That's usually the time, if there's romance in the air and a slight lull in the conversation, that's when you make your move. If she wants you to kiss her, she lean right into you, provided you make the move. Good luck....

stillafool Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Well, I'm having her over at my place, I'm cooking for her. So we are going to be in private... How romantic! I would much rather a guy cook for me on the first date than take me to a restaurant. It's much more relaxed. My crystal ball sees a serious makeout session going on after dinner!

My crystal ball sees a serious makeout session going on after dinner! I hope you're right, that would be great. But can somebody please tell me how to initiate the first kiss? I never had to work myself to get a girlfriend, in a way I have always been lucky in that it happened automatically, a testimony that it happens! But 'cause of this I don't know what to do to sweep a girl of her feet and create her attraction for me, nor do I know to create sexual tension and so on... Those are things I want and need to change, I just turned 26 and have almost no experience. I want to change this 'cause I wanna be able to take things in my own hands and the inability makes me quite unhappy!

sid3 Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 NO, NO, NO! (Tongue) first kiss? That is bad advice! Provided this is not your first kiss ever, just remember how it happened before. Too much thinking about it will make it turn out to be something a lot more difficult than it should be. I'd guess creating attraction would be easier if you weren't super nervous.
stillafool Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Why not, they've been hanging out long enough. He's cooking her dinner for goodness sake! If I took the time to shop, cook, clean and get ready for some guy I hope he slips me the tongue at the end of the evening. C'mon this is a nice guy here not some creep.
Mustang Sally Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Personally, I would suggest no tongue on the first kiss. Any subsequent kiss, thereafter, could involve tongue, if she is receptive. (I'm betting she will be.) Believe me, you'll know.
