FauxVowel Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 So everybody's trying to "hook me up" with someone... I signed up on a couple dating websites... We shouldn't have this feeling to have to immediately replace the ex, right? I think the best idea seriously is to focus on YOURSELF, and let the chips fall where they may. Let's all enjoy the vacation!
kizik Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 We shouldn't, but we do. And the worst is that I have a feeling my ex is trying to replace me, just like I wanna replace her... From what I've heard, though, this backfires more often than not. So yes I agree, focus on yourself. Though it's hard. Literally. I'm already tired of masturbation...
ianandris Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 So everybody's trying to "hook me up" with someone... Wish I had that problem. You're right, though. Definitely the best thing to do is focus on yourself, let the chips fall, etc. Alone time is opportunity to become what you always wanted to be, right? But, honestly, I'm kinda sick of focusing on myself. I've spent a lot of time focusing on myself already and I'm kinda over it. Only thing I really would like to have in my life at this point, given that my life is humming along relatively smoothly and I'm making satisfactory progress towards most of my goals, is a woman. I don't particularly want to think about myself anymore. I'd be wanting some space if I were dating me.
kizik Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 You never get what you want WHEN you want it. I must be projecting desperation right now. God, it's so funny. Anyway, yeah I'm sick of alone time and it's only been 2 months... be prepared for alone time and don't be disappointed when chicks don't fall all over themselves for you now that you're single...
