For the last few weeks, everything in my life has seemed so weird. It's almost like I've been in a dream for a while now and nothing feels normal. I don't feel normal anymore, and all the situations that occur just make everything seem more and more like a fantasy world.

Has anyone else ever felt this way before?

Like you are far from reality, like you don't know who you are or who anyone else is anymore. It's just such a crazy feeling. I really have thought that I was going crazy. I don't know what it is exactly, I'm soooo confused with life right now, I just kinda want everything to go back to the way it all was before. Before I started feeling these weird vibes.

I really don't know what to do, I'm kinda just here right now, my life feels like it has no direction, and that I could wake up from this dream and enter reality one day.

It almost feels like a video game in a sort of way, life is going really great, but I just don't seem to understand why I feel so far from reality, can someone help me in my situation.

I know exactly the feeling. Was there any major event that triggered this? Or maybe you've hit the a pause in the flow of your life (School, college, job, travel, etc) and are wondering what now. You don't know what the next step is. Set goals for yourself to keep progressing (relationships, travel, career, hobbies) and to have something to look forward to. Hope this helps.

Can you explain more?

Long before I always have this deja vu, like I always did something same, or lived same, like was in a dream.

Do you play video game quite a lot? do you try to pretend to be someone else?

Talk your thoughts out, can help a lot

Do some research into a concept called "depersonalization". It sounds like you might be suffering from it.

Dissociation.

It's just such a crazy feeling. I really have thought that I was going crazy.

Fact: You're not going crazy. Those who are going crazy don't realize it, so you can cross that one off your list.

In my experience, that 'out of it' feeling, like the feeling you get after seeing a movie in the movie theatre and then once outside, it hits ya - Is related to anxiety.

I had times when I felt weird that way...It was either anxiety related or an onset of a migraine.

Take an advil. (I swear it works!)

Also, please make an appointment with your family Dr, get a full checkup, blood work done etc, and ask (or do some research on your own) about seeing a therapist who is specialized in dealing with dissociation, can talk to you about this.
