americanrevgirl Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 I am absolutely heartbroken. A guy I cared very deeply for has just smashed my heart, it has just shattered! He kept playing games with me, and then ended it. He was so brutal. I feel sick from it, literally. I'm so upset. How do you cope?
FloraPost Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 I'm so sorry! There are a lot of us here who have been through this. Right now, be sure you eat and sleep and shower and all. Take care of yourself like you are your best friend who needs help. I wish I could fix it all... for all of us!

And I'll add to FPs excellent advice, brush your teeth and do your laundry. I let mine pile up and it became such a terrible mess I just threw the stuff away! Carrot

carrotgirl Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 I was quite sincere. As awful as being heartbroken is, being heartbroken and slovenly is worse, feels worse, looks worse, smells worse. Don't begin to say you haven't been there stinsmile! We've all been there. Taking care of my person helped me cope immensely. I also look even better now than before the break which really helps my shallow, vain self. Carrot

And of course I have been there. Remember months, well if you can call it remember, its more like a vague recolection of time passing, months where all I could do was brush my teeth. Ha, I remember one day going to school, and I swear to this day, I don't know what the heck I was thinking, because I looked like absolute doggie poo:) I managed to put clothes on, that I remember. I think back to those first weeks, months.....I swear, I was just dazed. In shock. So yeah, brushing your teeth is a real good idea, taking whatever time you need to just take care of you. And lucky other people who have lost weight, we won't talk about that, because I sure didn't. Too many pints of hagendaz ice cream:) Ah well.....Prince Charming won't mind I am sure:) Hey by the way, have you heard when he's gonna show up?

If you read my posts you'll know. I remember at first being sick, I mean I literally got sick. It was the worst pain in the world. All I can say is that each of the ladies on this board have been there in one way or another. You are not alone, LS is here for you, we all are. What sort of games did he play, and in what way was he brutal. My ex was pretty damn brutal. That I will never understand, why people need to do that. I'll just say that LS saved my life, and now I am doing great...so keep writing, people here will help.
