Gold Pile Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 My old uncle is a man of modest achievement, his life peaked at age 32 when he got a social disease from one of the doublemint twins. He is a huge George Carlin fan and wanted me to drop off a Carlin book for him to read again. On the way my car hit something, something you'd never expect in Boston. I pulled over and found nothing in the road but I heard rustling in some bushes.....couldn't find anything. It was one of two things, neither a pleasant prospect but one more troubling than the other. I called the police and told them I thought I hit a sheep but it could have been a guy in a sheepskin jacket. They said they'd look into it and told me never to call them again. Uncle was happy to see me and he broke out the good stuff...$180 champaign. We drank a few toasts to Carlin and to the Doublemint twins.
