Luv2Laugh Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Some women "obsess" about a man and their relationship. My friend said that only women do this, and men don't give it a second thought. Do women really think more about their relationship than men?
New Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 I think it depends on the person's personality... I find some women do, but I also find some men do.
Trialbyfire Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 I think it depends on the person's personality... I find some women do, but I also find some men do. I agree. Where many men and women differ, is that some men will internalize their issues since they either don't want others to know/feel they can handle it on their own, where women externalize them to support networks.
Jilly Bean Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 I've always done the obsessing and analyzing for both of us.

Do women really think more about their relationship than men? Ya think? 10 minutes on LS easily confirms that observation.

crosswordfiend Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 It seems that you think that the only type of thinking that's worth thinking about is thinking about relationships. I think it's time to reexamine how you think.
grogster Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 What about all us guys on here, with our long-winded and extended posts? Men post; women obsess. LS men, in my experience, crisis post; that is, they'll post long and hard when dealing with a crisis in their lives. Women, on the other hand, will post about every nuance, contingency and layer involving their relationships (or lack thereof) with men. Men have relationships for sex; women have relationships for discussion.
