Maybe this is a stupid idea, but I thought it might help procrastinators like myself to share their to-do-lists along with their progress. I've been having a disappointingly unproductive weekend. Sundays are usually the hardest because I have to come to terms with how little I've accomplished. Plus, I swear it rains every Sunday.

I'm still determined to get some stuff done before the night is over. I figure maybe writing my list on here will give it a little extra weight. I hope other people join in. Then log your progress and also write here if you're feeling discouraged or getting distracted. We can help each other!

I know I won't get everything on it done, but the more the better.

First here's EVERYTHING that is hanging over my head, in no particular order, short term and long:

Immediately Pressing:

straighten up bedroom.

read and watch stuff for work.

wash clothes for tomorrow.

write list of ideas for work.

Moderately Pressing:

get id thing straightened out.

email person about group therapy.

buy shoes for job, casual, non-job shoes and 2-3 pairs of pants.

update blog.

do Photoshop thing.

Email this dude

email people on craigslist about Fall housing.

look into school paperwork, registration, and Fall schedule.

email person about summer class.

look into signing up for other summer class.

start working out regularly and eating more healthy.

study for license.

Longer Term (done within a few months):

brainstorm screenplay ideas.

write short screenplay that i've wanted to do for awhile.

shoot said screenplay.

start another short screenplay if time permits.

build up blog business.

start attending meet ups to make friends.

buy new computer.

get license.

Posted

Pressing: Mop kitchen and bathroom floors, in fact do a total condo cleaning.

organize summer clothes

work out daily

I am on summer break (teacher)

This seems a rather odd place to assemble my to-do list...unless members are going to help me with it.

TO DO: Consider whether the world can be divided up into list makers and non-list makers and assess any difference in social interactions between the respective groups...

I've already done just about everything. Twice.

If "go on a date with Kate Beckinsale" is on your list, Tony, I can take that one.

Great idea! I'll take the "get a deep-tissue, all-over-body massage," if that one is on there somewhere. Anything to try to make things a little less hectic, by taking a load off.

Lol. He was 21 when he starred in The Outsiders and 22 in The Karate Kid. That's the era in which I would like to do him. ;) I do tend to like younger guys, but not criminally young. I draw the line at 17 (at least for sex), older for a relationship.

Mmmmm.

We share a birthday, and when I went to New York for my birthday I passed him in the street.

My one chance to wish him happy birthday (and be wished it in return?), and I chickened out.

Still kicking myself for that one.

Oh my god, you lucky bitch! Don't worry, I wouldn't have been able to say anything to him either. Once I ended up next to David Duchovny in a bar. He smiled at me and all I could do was stare and drool.

So what did he look like up close??

Oh I didn't know it was one of those lists....
