little-lilly Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 I am 23, have a boyfriend of 4 years, i have been in my latest job for 2 and a half years, i have met some great people and made some good friends. over the last 8 months i have had strong feelings for my boss at work, i have tried to brush them under the carpet as i am confused how these feelings have developed, i have tried spending more time with my boyfriend and doing fun things but when im with him i can only think about my boss. at a recent BBQ my boyfriend left early as he had other plans with friends. so i stayed behind with my work friends, knowing in the back of my mind that my boss was coming to the BBQ later on! It got to about 10ish, and my boss was a little tipsy, i had not been drinking so i offered a lift home. In the car my boss was saying how nice i am, that im fun to be around and that i have a cute laugh, i got very shy but loved the words i was hearing. As we arrived at the house we talked a little more in the car then i knew what was coming i got asked inside i hesitated but excepted.... we sat down i had a drink and we talked, as we were talking she lent in to kiss me, i closed my eyes and kissed her back! we kissed for a few minutes then i got up and told her i had to go. i have mixed feelings because i have a boyfriend, but i really like my boss but she is a girl!!! HELP!!

Your boyfriend would probably think this was cheating as well because you've got feelings going on too! This woman is your BOSS and it's not a good idea to mix that with pleasure. Single or not.

Thats kind of cute that you have crush on your boss in a messed up kind of way, she was drunk, and you were sober; so really it is you who took advantage ! You've definently got some bisexual tendancies. Just put this down to an experience and fly under the radar, look really ashamed when you see your boss and don't make eye contact. Probably best to look for another job too.

JohnnyBlaze Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 I suspect Max is right; you do have some bisexual tendencies. Exploring that with your boss, however, is not a wise idea. If you really want to know if you like girls as well, there is always a simple solution. Talk it out with your bf first, and then go out, pick up a girl, and bring her home for a threesome - your bf probably won't object. As long as you keep her to a one night fling, there won't be any worry about her replacing your bf, or her replacing you. Whatever you do, DON'T do anything more with your boss. That would be dangerous. While things are good, you're seen as the boss' pet, much to the annoyance of your co-workers. When things go wrong, your boss will either make your days there awkward, or find a reason to fire you (and don't fool yourself - bosses can always find a way). If you want to be with your boss that badly, find another job first.
