It can be a hard time in your life when you're trying to recover from a breakup. Everything can seem harder, even just climbing out bed in the morning. All that can change, however...there are a lot of ways that you can pull your life back together and things you can do to make your pain slowly fade away.

1) Anything you don't like about yourself, now's the perfect time to deal with it. Not only will it be a great distraction from your breakup pain, but it'll build self-confidence and help you to find that happiness with yourself that you lost when your ex made you feel like you weren't good enough. So right now, if you have a couple pounds you'd like to lose or a few zits that are making you scowl whenever you look in the mirror, nows the time to do what it takes to spice yourself up again!

2) Get together with some of your friends and go out! Even if it's really hard at first, you should do your best to have some fun. It'll be really good for you to get out there into the world again, and nobody can help you have a good time like your best friends.

3) Chances are you're intending to get your ex back at some point and try to rebuild a life with him, but in the meantime it's actually a pretty good idea to try a little bit of fun with some of the other singles out there. Being in a public scene while looking good is bound to get you some attention, so at least be fairly receptive. You don't have to be really serious and date anybody, but the attention will be good for rebuilding your self-confidence and just having a welcome distraction.

This is good advice, don't get me wrong...but to really move past this breakup and get your ex back you'll probably want to seek out some other resources. Below I linked to a great one with a lot of valuable free information that you'll definitely find helpful, so I'd advise taking a look at it before you do too much about trying to get back your ex.
