kaykin1975 Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Anyone know the percentage rate of ex-spouses giving it one more try? My EH and I have been divorced since December. He didn't divorce me due to infidelity or love loss...he couldn't take my gambling and spending money anymore. I have since gone to counseling and have overcome my "addictions." We talk a lot and text all the time. We also have a 5 year old son. Any advice would be appreciated!!
CastingPearls Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Just continue to show that you have changed your behavior, and at some point, ask whether a reconciliation is possible. There is a some risk that should you get back into a relationship you may revert to old habits. Your ex may be wary of getting involved again, since many people who divorce breathe a sigh of relief when its over and don't want to go down that road again. There are a few success stories people have written about here but it is more the exception than the rule. If you really want to make an effort it may be worth a try.
TrustInYourself Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 I'm going to throw out a number. 33.3% repeating of course. Those are some slim odds. Are you ready to really gamble gf!?
