alialui Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 I know NC is the best idea for me and my ex 'cuz neither of us was brave enought to get back together and solve problems nor to let go out each other. we got stuck in the bad cycle of fighting, hurting each other, being separated for a couple of weeks, missing each other, meeting up and finighting again over and over again. before starting NC, I emailed him. we had had another fight before then, and that made me decide to be strong and cut the connection completely. i wrote a sweet sincere email explaining why NC was best for us and if we were meant to be, we would have a fresh new start together sometime. only God knows. today, I kinda expected him to text or call to say happy birthday. but didn't hear from him. i'll just think he's respecting my decision. I really miss him, tho, even though i started seeing another guy. is there a soulmate? I thought he would be the soulmate, cuz we could never let go of each other no matter how many problems we had. did I make a good decision? or did I have to try to be friends with him? Will i ever have a chance to meet him again and have a brand new relationship if we are real soulmates? I need your advice or opinion. Thank you:) hope everyone is coping with heartbreaks well too
