do you believe in signs when it comes to love?

hi,

 

so i'm wondering does anyone believe in signs out there when it comes to matters of the heart??

 

I had dated someone for quite sometime, we formed a very tight bond and deep friendship were very supportive of one another, we were both having various issues that we were handling at the time. the excitement i guess went away and in it's path stood this huge and unbreakable bond still enjoyed being together alot, always had great conversations yet the relationship end of it was um ending shall we say.

 

we both decided that we would turn it back into a friendship and not engage in the other end of it anymore we were afraid of losing the friendship we had created. so i met someone that all the chemistry i was lacking in the first relationship was there twenty fold. i fell in love, we got engaged. my friend remained. yet i miss him now incredibly so.

 

i have had signs strange signs i think their odd;

 

i recvd. call right after we got engaged from a school that is in my friends school district (ok by hte way a whole lot of diff. school districts where i live) stating that my child needed me and to come to the school. this call occurred twice. once as i stated and the second time around the time we were speaking of marriage.

 

i have had multiple dreams, very detailed one night in particular regarding my friends family yelling at me what are you doing? you belong with him.( i read my horoscope the following day, yes i read those at times) and it stated to pay attention to my dreams from the prior night because they will tell the answers that i am in search of.

 

then when my fiance and i first began the first night, one of our first dates was the exact place myself and my friend went to alot, then the next date same place we went too again. then we always spoke of marrying and retiring in aruba if we ever made it down the "finish line" when we were together. we had vacationed there one time long ago many years ago. ofcourse i go somewhere not even a social event i go to a fabric store and there are a couple who begin talking to me that just got married in aruba of all places.

 

my current relationship hasnt' been great either to be honest. he's a great guy but its been tough.

 

are these viable signs, are they even signs? if they are am i ignoring my true destiny? or am i just going crazy?

the movie that best describes the situation to me is the notebook. i know such a cliche yet it's the truth. i went into my room just this evening after posting put the tv on and what is on tv? the notebook. are these signs or am i just looking for signs and creating them?

I don't think those are signs written by destiny. If anything, they're your subconscious mind speaking up.

 

You're having doubts in your current relationship. You're looking and regretting the loss from your last one. I suspect there wasn't enough time between the first and the present one, where you assimilated all your emotions, therefore, properly let the first one go.

Agreed. This is your subconscious speaking; you are looking for reasons to doubt your new relationship. It seems like you aren't so happy with your current fiance, and remembering all the good time with your ex. Seeing that you are engaged, I'd imagine this would cause some distress!

 

Chemisty and attraction are very powerful things, but I'd ask yourself, who can you imagine growing old with and still laughing with each other when you're old and gray?

Thank you, such good advice from both of you. I think I am afraid of marriage, I also think there wasn't enough time between the two for the simple fact ex and i stayed friends without a break inbetween. also i noticed today i have never had both feet fully in my current relationship at all. due to this fact. i haven't done anything wrong or been unfaithful. yet it's time to get both feet back in i belive and see what we are really made out of it. chemistry's great like you said and laughing too, yet we need to see what we are truly made out of. so i'm going to tell the ex boyfriend i cannot speak ot him for a while scary but i'm going to cut him out. this is a decision about my current relationship and not about ht ex person i think. I have ot make the decision on it's own without any influence from the past.

 

also we placed hold on wedding for now.
