ioncebelieved Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Today was my birthday and for some reason even though we are not talking and there is no more us, I expected to hear from her today in some form, shape or fashion. I DID NOT!! Really I should not be worried about it, but it is funny how some people just seem to move on unphased and you are hurting like hell. I guess that I added to my pain expecting to hear happy birthday or seeing something from her. I feel like Y right now, but I will spare the board and not post it!!! I wish that time heals all would hurry up.

Tabatha Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Well, Happy Birthday!! That is a sad feeling when the people you loved or thought loved you forget about you on your special day. I always remember to wish my exes Happy Birthday. I will feel bad if I missed it without seeing how they were doing and wishing them well. Like my ex ex, his birthday is a day before mine...we wished each other to have a good day. And my exes Birthday was yesterday. I got to spend most of the time with him on Monday, thank goodness, because yesterday was a complete mess, and I screwed it up for myself and him to spend last night together. long story

That makes it worse because I have crap there in my mind trying to figure out why she didn't contact me. I highly doubt she just forgot about it after last week. I stopped wishing my exs happy birthday when I no longer cared about them. If this woman just all of sudden stopped caring about me in a week, damn!!!! Her silence begs for more answers that I am not gonna get!!!!

Then on the other hand do I really give a ****? We are over, both moved on so do I really want her to text? If she does I will be going round and round thinking about should I thank her or ignore her? If she does I will probably be on here asking ya'll for advice LOL!! So I think it's best if she just let's sleeping dogs lie!

Well I called her on it and it bothered me. Her excuse was what I figured," I thought if I had it would make it worse." Which I see her point, but she is the one that placed herself in the damn if you damn if you don't category!!! If you still love the ex, you were given good advice already. Send it and keep it short and sweet. I would go as far and say to let that person know if you still have some feelings. Worse they can do is throw it away and of course if you have A TPO against you, the worst that can happen is you get locked up!!! All kidding aside though and if TPO is not therem send it!! I still am dealing with her pain as I try NC, but she is doing way better at it than I!!!
