bigbuck Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 So me and my gf breakup and I ask to get my stuff out of her house. She says no...so I sent her nasty text messages for about 2 weeks straight. She then filed a harassment restraining order on me. Her mom calls me today and says my ex is very upset about all of this and does not want to go to court. I go to court and she doesnt show. I just blew 800 dollars on a lawyer for nothing....Why would she do something like that if she wasnt serious??? Should I still take her to court to get my things back?? I am almost wondering if she wants me back but we have been broken up about four times now in less than a year....why would I want to go back to that?? I feel bad for taking my stuff back because I know she needs a washer and dryer for her kids clothes...I just dont know what to do.
Author bigbuck Posted June 10, 2008 Author Posted June 10, 2008 I went to the police and they said "sorry cant help you...take her to court". The only reason she wont give me my crap is because we have been through this before and we always end up getting back together...I really dont wanna date her anymore. And yes in her home.
justaman99 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Get back together with her for a 5th time. Then when she's at work, move your **** out. No legal hassle, no stress and you're free of it all.

Sometimes its worth it to lose your stuff just to get rid of a crazy person. How much would you pay to never have to deal with that again? Is the stuff worth more than that?

I don't think it would hurt him. He doesn't want to be in the relationship. Just try and work an opportunity to get in there on "good terms" with the idea to get his **** back. It's pretty simple. She's not being fair and allowing him to get his items back. He wouldn't have gone to small claims if it wasn't important I would think.
