Stockalone Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 okay... you just said "I like wearing women's panties on my head while dancing to Abba".... I never wear women's panties. But I have been dancing to ABBA.
trubella Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 i think this thread is just a reminder of why i didnt tell my current beau about my past*exact number* of ppl ive been with. usually that number can bring a negative reaction and i will be labeled as a slut, like i have before. i dont see myself that way, promiscuous at the time yes.. but slut or skank no. thankfully he didnt walk away when i finally told him.
AriaIncognito Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I'm not sure if this can be tied to the thread, but, i wonder, what's "normal" as far as numbers go anyway? Like, how can you compare one person to another? Seems to me it would be like comparing apples to oranges. For example, for myself, i waited until I was older before losing my V, whereas some lost it earlier. Some have been in numerous relationships but they didn't work out, etc. So, what would you consider a normal number? Is there such a thing? What number would constitute someone as a slut? Obviously if you've had say 20 partners by age 40 and another had 20 partners by age 20, some could say the latter was more slutty, but i dont know, how do you compare?
D-Lish Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I never wear women's panties. But I have been dancing to ABBA. It's totally cool- I dance to Neil Diamond while vaccuming!

Numbers are all relative to age.. The number 50 for example : If a person begins sex at 17 then : Age 18.. the number 50 correlates to a different guy each and every week.. Age 50.. the number correlates to a different guy every 8 months or so...

Star Gazer Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I don't think there is a way someone can tell if a person have had 50-100 sexual partners.. unless the person is classless, dressed slutty, or if she/he has a leathery 'alcoholic' face. WOW. Um, Lizzie...haven't you admitted to having that number of partners, or more?
burning 4 revenge Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I think all women who are not my mom are sluts and they will be dealt with..oh they will be dealt with.....
underpants Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I think all women who are not my mom are sluts and they will be dealt with..oh they will be dealt with..... I've been naughty.
Krytie TV Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 It's all ambiguous. What would a guy think if a girl told him that she has had 40 sexual partners at the age of 32? Slut? What if everyone of those sexual partners was in the context of a 4+ month committed relationship since the age of 20 or 22, is she still a slut? I personally think numbers can be very deceiving and that is the precise reason I never ask and am not interested in telling. I dont know that I've ever considered a woman a slut. What is that nowadays? Most of the time words like that are used, I think, is because it is used as some sort of defense or backlash from a woman not wanting to be with the person in question. Or maybe even jealousy from other women. What's the old joke... What's the deifference between a slut and a bitch? A slut sleeps with everyone and a bitch sleeps with everyone but you.
Gold Pile Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 It also depends on your generation. 1978 a teenaged girl was expected to have very few (if any) partners and a lucky boy might have a few. 2009 ... teenagers would consider these numbers sexually deprived. To be safe you have to take "slut zone" precautions with all your partners. I would feel better about low numbers but short of someone boasting about a high tally...how can you tell. Often (not always) a recently divorced woman will have lower numbers. The same usually can't be said for divorced men, I know too many married guys who cheat, cheat, cheat.
blind_otter Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I don't think you can tell at all. I never, EVER have the "numbers" discussion - mainly because I don't want to know. IME, when you get into the numbers discussion suddenly the other person wants to know what kind of sex you had, how many times you've done anal, blow jobs, all that crap - details that I am really not interested in hearing from my partner because it would alter how I look at him. And if it would alter how I look at him, I'm sure it would alter how he looks at me. Don't ask, don't tell. That's my policy. It has worked out well for me. As long as I see a clean STD screen, I am happy.
grogster Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 TC's thread made me think about this.. how does someone can tell if the person has had a tons of sexual partners.. it's not written in their face.. and chances are, the promiscuous person will not tell.. My current girl friend, who's 54 and has been single since she was 26, has had over 50 lovers. She's not a slut, but she very much enjoys sex: the rougher the better. My ex, who's 50, has had about 4 lovers. Can I tell them apart sexually as to who is the more experienced bed hopper and, in my estimation, the better lover. You bet: But only after sex. Just by looking at them, or speaking to them, neither my GF nor my ex appears more "slutty" (I hate that word) than the other. Both women are nice, attractive, middle-aged professionals. As for many middle-aged women who've learned the fine art of camoflauge, few outward signs of sluttiness exist.

I just look for traits like, low self esteem, constant attempts to get attention, aggressive sexual flirting. Anything that says mentally imbalanced. Those are the kind of precautions you should take!

I do look for mentally imbalanced...often that's the reason a hot woman isn't taken already. If I find the hot unbalanced type (and I certainly have more than 1x) I try to keep most details of my life from them. I even have a special cell phone just for them and other people I may need to avoid.

If you keep some situational awareness, and evaluate her statements and actions in an objective manner, then most times you can tell really quick.
2sunny Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 it's impossible to tell if a gal doesn't say and is one who presents herself with class and charm and manners. same way it's often times difficult to tell with men... numbers mean nothing... i was very adventurous before i got married. was faithful all the 25 years i was with xH - and now i'm single again... why would anyone have a need to ask about a number anyway? this is totally a privacy issue and anyone can lie about it if they so choose to... it almost seems like a setup if you are being asked. personally - i wouldn't answer. not because i have something to hide - it's more the fact that it's private info...

I agree. What's important is chemistry: One person's "slut," is another person's friend and lover. I prefer the term "experience", which is value neutral as opposed to pejorative.
Kezersoze Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 There are other words to use besides slut, you could use words like whore, skank, skeezer, hoe, harlot (ancient hoes), or the british version slag, but my personal favorite is "smut" which is a new term. I agree that men can't be sluts cause for some reason women like men that been with LOTS of women and also experience is more important for men.

I don't believe in the word 'slut', either. I believe there are cheaters, but as long as you're honest and monogamous, who cares how many people they were with in the past? I'd rather not know about any of that, anyway!
GPFan Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 How about smegma-diver or smut-muffin as alternatives?
Krytie TV Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 How about smegma-diver or smut-muffin as alternatives? My personal favorite has always been "frat mattress".
Balthazar Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 There are vaginal signs of experience of course. However, those are also compounded by the age factor.
Krytie TV Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 "Vaginal signs" as you call them are pretty useless. Anyone who has been married for any number of years will likely have equal or more "signs" than a woman who has slept with 40 men over the last two years.
