Capt. Picard Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 There is a woman at work, different from the one in my other posting, that works on a different shift from me. I only see her about once a week, if that and we barely talk. If we do talk, she turns the conversation all sexual in nature. Some of this may be graphic, but we are all adults, and I'll tone it down some. One day I was at work and I was talking to her, she acted like she was going to hit me in the genitals, and stopped short, with a smile on her face. I asked her why she wanted to hit me, and she replied "The only thing of me that will be hitting you will be my chin." Completely shocked I just stared at her. I've seen her other times grabbing her breasts in front of me, lifting her shirt so I could see her butt when she bends over. A couple of weeks later, she did the shirt thing and wiggled her butt at me. I asked her why she was always doing stuff like that like trying to get me to look at her butt. She replied "I want you to kiss my a%#, bite my a%#, f%$^ my a%#." My jaw dropped. I had no idea what to say. She is always asking me if I want to go to out to eat with her. I try not to be rude and keep dropping hints that I don't want to. I never agree to anything. She "sets" up times. Then the next time I see her, she acts all disappointed. I have absolutely no interest in her. One factor, other than I am not attracted to her, is that she is a lot older than me. Also, as you can tell, she comes on really strong, and from the rumors I've heard, she gets around. She also flirts with everyone, but I don't know if she says the kinds of things to them that she says to me. How can I get her to leave me alone?

I hope someone else in here can give you some really good advice. But if I had to say something, I'd suggest telling her straight up that you're not interested in her and that she should really stop acting like that in front of you. No need to beat around the bush if it's seriously bothering you.

No need to beat around the bush if it's seriously bothering you. You are being sexually harassed. It is illegal. If a man did all that to a woman he would be toast in a microsecond. The problem is that women do not believe that the rules of law apply to them. WE are bloody hypocrytes. You need to tell her calmly but bluntly that she has crossed the line and that you find her behavior offensive . Rather that tell her that you are going to report her -tell her that her actions are a huge TURNOFF. This wounds a woman's ego and invalidates her belief that she is ATTRACTIVE. That is a real stab in the heart- more so than having her arrested which gets messy for you and gets her a LOT of attention. If you file a legal complaint she would just turn it all around on you anyways and play "victim" by claiming that YOU harrassed her.. She sounds like a real piece of work - good liuck.
