well hello! thank you for visiting this post!

To be blunt, I want to hook up with someone who lives about 2 hours away, who I recently met. I can honestly say I'm not interested in a relationship, just some physical fun. I've never done anything like that before, which is probably why it holds so much appeal. I'm moving in about 3 weeks far far far away, so it really would be just a hook-up. Due to some sexual innuendo on his part in a recent phone conversation, I believe he may be open to the idea. However, this may not be the safest idea I've ever had. I don't really know the guy. So, whatdja think? Has anyone ever been in a similar situation? Any been-there advice pro or con?

YOU ASK: "Has anyone ever been in a similar situation?"

I meet people I'd like to hook up with all the time...no strings attached.

Just be sure this guy is disease free and that you use the best birth control available and go for it. What the hell! Oh, yeah, make sure he doesn't have a girlfriend who might get pissed about this.

What I would do is just let him know that you are moving far far away, and then make some passes at him and if he still acts willing then go for it. Surely he wouldn't think it was anything more than a one night stand if he knew you were moving away.

Hey, maybe that's all he wants too! :D

Yes be sure to make the surefire assumption that this particular person wants nothing to do with building a relationship or getting seriously involved and committed with you. Just have your sex and don't bother to let him know what's going on. He'll get it. It's embedded into those secret guy genes we all learn about in fifth grade when they herd us into the secret man room and newspaper the windows shut.

Or you could discuss what you're really after beforehand just in case he was absent that day. You do know what they say about assumptions, after all. ;)
