Pedigree Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 ...what could possibly prevent her from revealing her relationship status as quickly as possible? Long story short, I went after girl, girl already has bf, but it took said girl a month before she revealed that she has a bf. There's a thread on it, but it got deleted. Being that it was the busy end of uni, my thought was "All right, let's just roll with the punches and get on with it" because I don't want this to distract me from assignments, test, etc.. Now the semester's over and with lots of spare time, I'm thinking "Why the hell didn't she tell me earlier?" So, why didn't she tell me earlier?

But who knows, something might have happened, and in the end she decided to finally reveal to you that she has a bf. It could either mean that she (for whatever reason) chose the other guy over you, or that she's got her emotions stuck in a knot and is finally unable to -logically- figure out what to do with the whole situation, like as if she's asking for your help as to what to do. Sorry if I don't know more info since you said your other thread got deleted.

Some girls (and guys) don't let go of one branch before having a grasp on another. If a person is respectful of the relationship they are in then they would disclose this information. If they withhold it then ...well, who cares why? The fact is that if they are looking for options when involved with another then don't be surprized when they explore options if you start to date them. Dust it off and keep looking.

This chick goes an entire MONTH, talking, and im assuming.. flirting with you as well.. giving the impression that she's interested in you. After the month's "trail" period, she decided to stay with her current man, and you're left in the cold. Keeping in mind, that her current BF has NO clue about his woman shopping around. Consider yourself lucky.. What this story illustrates, is the answer to a lot of guys' questions about their ex. "How can she move on so quickly?" "Didn't she love me?" "I thought she wanted time and space, and now she's with another guy??" Yes she is. Now this poor sucker (the BF of this chick) has no idea that his woman is shopping around for another guy. If this chick wanted Pedigree, she would have done a complete 180 to her current BF, gave him some crap line about how she needs to find herself.. and then she would have found herself in Pedigree's bed....a few weeks later....leaving the now ex BF wondering what the hell happend with his relationship, since this came out of "nowhere".. and also making him a possible candidate to join Loveshack. So there you have it.. the classic example of the "branch theory". That is why she didn't tell you earlier Pedigree.

Hi, well i think she would be confused whether she likes her bf or you or she was jus having fun with you. Best of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did she finally reveal her bf because she's asking for my help? Well she seems to be pretty firm about her decision at the time. If she was just having fun, she should know that her game's up because the first week after this revelation I cold-shouldered her to hell (see each other a lot because we do the same subject at uni) and she still hung around me. Yeah, confused seems about right.

I didn't ask directly. I tried that close to 2 years ago and all I did was come across like a loser. I'd say that I'm reliant on the girl in question to casually disclose the information (eg. work it into a conversation) which sooner or later they do.

She's got the looks, so not only is she going after other options, people are going after her.

You are in University for God's sakes, which is full of fine young women. Date multiple women and you won't worry about what one of them may think or do; you will be multi tasking in the best way possible. Just try this out and tell me if you ever have such worries again.
