I've been seeing this girl in class for about four weeks now, and although I wanted to get her number sooner I felt that I would be coming on too strong if I did. Luckily though, she still flirts with me on a few occasions, so MAYBE she might be into me, but if I wait longer to ask her number I fear that I might lose her interest. Should I still go ahead and ask for her number, or have I already blown off my chances for not asking it sooner?

Sounds to me like this whole "is it too late?" thing is just overanalysis.
