Me and this girl have so much in common, can relate in so many ways!, and can talk on the phone for hours never the slightest bit bored. We started dating, but she decided to go back to her ex, who cheated on her many times and treats her like garbage! I decided to let her go, because you cant control someones feelings, if she wants him, she wants him! Problem is, she wont leave me alone. I ask her why she keeps calling me, and her reason is I dont Know. So one night I decided to just ask some really personal questions and found out she does like me a lot, still wants to be with me, but thinks she doesn't deserve me! She knows she can do better, she even tells me shes with an a**, so I asked why are you with him then? Her answer is, "I know it wont last, so I know I cant get hurt." Is her self esteem that low? She tells me "Your the perfect guy for me, your everything I want to a tee" who says that but doesn't want it? (and no I asked if that was her nice way of rejecting me, and it isn't.) I guess shes afraid that she will fall for me, and get attached, I asked about her previous long term relationship and the guy broke her heart. Maybe thats the reason...shes afraid shell get hurt again? and instead of taking a risk, shes dating guys she knows will never work out so she knows she wont get attached? What should I do? Keep fighting for her? Or just let her go her own way... I like this girl so much! Its unbelievable the amount of interests we have in common...and honestly I don't want to let her go, without at least knowing we wouldnt work.
