LazyLibra Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 I am seeing this new girl and It's going good. She's an extremely good looking girl and gets lots of attention from the other boys. She dresses very nicely and sometimes with a bit of cleavage showing(Who doesn't). So yesterday she texts me and says "IF i call pick up" (Ofcourse haha), So she calls and says "There were some creepy guys following me off the train and followed me all the way to the store and whenever i would look behind they would stop etc etc" She was obviously not wanting the attention of the boys. So I talk to her and Get off the phone. I text her and say "IF you need me to pick you up after , if they're still around, Call me, i don't need people F'n with you" and she texts me back "I can take care of myself". hahaha lol. What? Ok, She knows i'm protective(Not controlling), She goes to the clubs to dance with her girlfriends like all girls and I don't mind. I trust her and she seems like a very loyal person. What should of i said? Oh don't worry about it they probably just had a crush!? EXCUSE ME, i don't take chances, A fair share of females are attacked/sexually assualted every year after being followed off public transportation. Now i just feel like a goof
Replicant Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Dude, she hooked you like a fish with her text message drama. If she clearly was in trouble. She would not be sitting there texting back and forth. She achieved both an ego boost out of offering up your ninja skills surely (though clearly denying the need for them) and possibly playing the jealousy angle to see how you react. Seriously...Things play out fast in real life, hopefully she does not place herself in bad situations and if so happens to be in one she's smart enough to find/call for help if you or friends\family are not there. This text message crap is just some late afternoon drama between phone calls. My advice..Have a talk with her about it, then drop it.
