ismellsogood Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 I'm a 23 year old female, turning 24 in the fall. I'm interested in a 20 year old guy, turning 21 in 2 months. Is this weird because I'm older than the male? Does it look weird/desperate for me to be interested in and talking to a younger guy? I haven't/don't plan to ask him out, but he knows I think he's cute and has been responding positively...
spookie Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Not weird, but if he was any younger I think it'd be a little shady, not cause of the difference but because he was still a teen.

Angels&Airwaves Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 It’s becoming more and more common these days to see younger men with older women and a few years is hardly a significant age gap. For that to happen it would have to be a large age gap of ten years and beyond. Younger men and older men have dated since time began, so I don’t understand the double standard with regards to younger men and older women. I personally find my own age and older women attractive.
