silver bullet Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 ok so i had quite possibly the worst date of my life the other day and i was wondering what all you guys have run into... so me and this girl went out to dinner then met up with a few friends to play some mini golf well i had on shorts, polo, light jacket...the girl i was with had on shorts and a t-shirt...well we got stuck behind a group of like 8 ppl so we were constantly stuck waiting a good 5 minutes at every hole. Well it ended up getting cold and windy like 4-5 holes in so I gave my date my jacket and even put my arm around her to try to keep her warm, which she seemed to really appreciate so we finished playing mini golf and left to go back to my friends place then we walked to this party with a few other people. Now i'm not much of a liqour person usually just beer, however there was alot of liqour at this party and not alot of beer. I got really drunk playing liqour pong and kings. So I ended up in the bathroom and was sick to my stomach...things started getting a little hazy and the girl i was with came to the door to see if i was ok...stood around for a minute or so and then left. I ended up in there or somewhere around the bathroom for like 30 minutes feeling like ****...well long story short a good friend of mine said this chick left with another guy like 10 minutes after i went to the bathroom... i was like wow lol after all that crap i did for her she just up and ditches me lol
blondie_xo Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 wow thats pretty harsh. she sounds like she wasn't really looking for anything with you. or was interested in you at all even if she left with another guy. can we say...*bleep*. sorry for your luck. just move on to bigger and better things. i had a similar experience though- i brought a "date" to a party and he ended up hooking up with some other girl and later claimed that i was ignoring him the whole time. how could i go up to him when he's macking with some other girl at the party ? oddly enough he turned out to be a stalker, LOL! long story. oh man, if i were to share my bad experiences, you's all will be celebrating your 80th birthday by time you got to the end of the list.
spookie Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Well, if it was your first date and you spent the majority of the time puking your brains out, you can't really blame her. Did she steal your jacket? My weirdest first date involved the guy sharing his creepy sexual fantasies with me (which involved older men) and then ripping me off on an 1/8th of shwag. I got mine back by stealing his giant bong before I left, though.

While it was pretty rude of her to just leave with someone else, I can't imagine she was having that great of a time if the guy she came with was too plastered to pay her any attention. Also, how much attention were you paying her while you were getting ***-faced? If you were ignoring her while drinking, some astute guy probably caught on and took your place. It happens.

So you think that showing your date a good time is to take off at a party and getting so drunk that you end up puking. Wow you are one classy dude. Actually I totally support you in your dating efforts. Because guys like you make guys like me a real catch. So when I take your girl home she'll be thinking "wow here's a guy that so in to me he isn't going out and getting ****-faced and puking."

We were having a good time laughing over the movie, when he all of a sudden says he left his phone in the car and needed to go get it. I paused the movie, and waited. Well instead of him coming back, I heard the car screeching out of the driveway and speeding off. He had th audacity to text me the next day and say it wasn't me, he was uncomfortable in my house. That was the last time I talked to him.
D-Lish Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 I actually took off through a bar kitchen and bolted on a first date because the guy got so drunk and outrageously angry because he thought the waiter was flirting with me. He even grabbed my elbow and shook me at one point. I went to the bathroom to try and get out- and he followed me right into the girls washroom! I was trying to pee and I saw his shoes standing outside the stall. When I came out, he tried to kiss me...yuck! So I told him to leave- then I walked into the kitchen at the restaurant and had the staff get me out of the back door.

Anyway, yeah it was probably not a good idea for you to get ****-faced. When you're trying to hook up with a chick, you need to keep your wits about you; it's a mental game. Having your judgment impaired, or worse yet, incapacitated, generally is not a good idea. I haven't had a bad experience that stands out in my mind lately. Well, I've been out of the game for a bit since I have a GF now. But even before that, just the normal dating BS, nothing bad enough to worth mentioning. Although I find it amusing that one of the women I was seeing back in January turned out to be bi and is dating a woman now. Seeing a bi chick is no big deal, been there done that. But I kind of know her as a friend's friend, and partied together before, so it was kind of surprising that she turned out to be bi. However, I have heard this from one of my friends. My friend J (woman) went on a date with a dude she kind of knows for a bit, and she finds him fairly attractive. However, he seems to be always doing something with this sister or his mom; they seem to take over his life. Well, dude finally asked J on a date to go to go to dinner then to catch a movie. Before the dinner was even over, he got a call. His mom or sister wants him back home. J wasn't happy about that obviously, but told him if it were an emergency, she'd understand. But he wouldn't say if it were an emergency or not. My guess is his leash was just getting tugged. So the date ended like that. His code name is now mama's boy. And of course, he's got zero chance with her now.
