He has told me I won't be able to get another partner, have I looked at myself in the mirror lately, he walks around saying he is so good and I am feeling so good looking, Oh uh. He has brought my self esteem so love I am very sensitive to myself.

 

Remember the SELF in SELF-esteem -- he can't do anything to your self-esteem unless you let him. He's hurt and mad and he wants you to feel bad, he knows you and knows how to do it -- its sad that he chooses to do it, but its understandable. You are right to insist one of you goes.
