treelover Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 LakesideDream, thanks for making me "buck up and smile" because that's what I did. I know a lot of people already, who say that I'll be better off, but it's still scary. You seem to be part of the shrinking percentage, people like us who still think there's good in this world. But I think you will find your soul mate soon. There's someone out there who is very willing to return your generous, caring attitude. Jo
Author treelover Posted May 27, 2008 Author Posted May 27, 2008 Guessjeans, I had considered this behavioral trait a few years ago, but I didn't get into it deep enough. Since your reply, I've been on the internet several hours and darn if I didn't find a wealth of information. You are absolutely right - especially the trait of blaming others for their shortcomings. With my hub, everything is someone else's fault. I discovered other information as well, and now I'm not so sure that I'm going to leave the house. It may be detrimental to the divorce (this is Jersey law, now). Doing the internet research has been at a standstill because of the long weekend, and he's suspicious about everything I do ("the guilty become suspicious), but I'm back into it full force. I'm going to research every step before I move my feet. Thanks for making me wake up. Jo
