This is excellent, RP! I am sure you have heard enough of the expression in the States, You go, Girl!. Keep going!

 

It goes without saying that you have the street-smarts, sixth-sense, accumulated wisdom, international experience, and just enough dealings with humanity in general to know that with anyone and everyone you meet, just be your cool, savvy self and trust people once they have earned your trust.

 

(And get everything in writing!)

 

Keep us posted when/if you have the desire to do so. Law school is a practical "fall back", but music is your calling. We're rooting for you!

OE, it's not a big deal really. The big deal comes when the big shots from the music industry are willing to listen to your songs. Then it boils down to whether they like them or not. The real big deal though is when a song gets covered by a famous artist or it becomes a hit. Everything before that is just walking toward the goal together with thousands of other songwriter wannabes who will never become recognised.
