evoLve Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 So I wasnt sure where to post this, regarding my ex, so since weve broken up im posting here. Sorry if this were better suited somewhere else. Quick background, my ex and I split up little over 7 months ago, she went from theres definately hope for us, to casual sex, to theres no hope, to a new boyfiend, to definately no hope ever no matter what and shes not even attracted to me anymore. Weve stayed friends but now shes asked me something and im not sure what her intentions are... Basically, he parents are out of town and shes asked me to stay for the night and sleep next to her on a seperate bed. Shes made it clear that she has no feelings for me, but just loves me as a friend (100 times). Ive completely gotten over this and am fine with it, im just confused. How should I take it when an ex of 7 months asks me to sleep over? I just want to know what the hell shes thinking. Keep in mind this is a girl who still to this day wants to move in with me, and also a girl that I would never assume wanted anything more than a friendship, if it makes a difference. How should I take it and should I think otherwise of what shes told me?

How should I take it and should I think otherwise of what shes told me? Seriously, don't do it. This girl has you like a puppet on a string. Its boosting her ego and extremely unfair of her to expect you to be in such close proximity to her. For your own sanity, keep her at arms length. Shes being very selfish thinking of herself and not taking you or your feelings into consideration at all. Sorry if this sounds harsh...
Phateless Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 WTF is wrong with this girl? Why does she want you there? Buy her a nightlight instead.
carhill Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 So, OP, you never wanted anything more than a friendship, but slept with her anyway, and now are just friends and she wants you to sleep over since her parents are gone. I'd take it as two people tossing around a whole bunch of mixed messages. Do you really think you two would sleep in beds next to each other? I honestly don't know who's playing mind games with who here, but my answer to the question is to take it as an offer you can and will refuse
