I don't understand. I mean, he could easily find one of his other female friends to join him on vacation, just the 2 of them. He'd have just as much fun, whether it be Girl A, B or W.

The whole situation unfolded, when he asked me if I'd like/want to join him on vacation somewhere tropical, just the 2 of us. I was really surprised that he'd offer, let alone bring up this subject. I hadn't a clue. Him and I are really good friends -and somewhere in my mind, I thought he'd definitely ask one of his girl crushes or something to go on vacation with him. So, why me?

I thought vacations, one-on-one, are usually only for couples (relationship) or better yet, in a group of 4 or more. Since he and I are not in a romantic relationship, it would be odd for me to go vacation with him alone. Right? Or is this not the case?

Oh, and I almost forgot: he'd pay for my time off work! Now, that is tempting. What sane guy would actually be so keen on doing this?

I don't know. Is he hinting at something? He's got a lot of female friends, so it's not a matter of finding a girl to go with.

Enlighten me people. I don't know what's going on.

He most likely loves you, you stupid. Poor little sucker.

Team America quotes:

Chris: Have you ever thought about just telling Sarah how you feel?

Joe: Oh, what would a girl like Sarah want with a simple Nebraska boy like me? I don't know nothin' about fancy cars and fancy restaurants. Still, I would love to show her a moonlit night out by the hay stacks.

Chris: Oh, come on, Sarah, you mean you never realized Joe has feelings for you?

Hot damn ! Are we talking beaches and bikinis and drinks in pineapples ?

Let me tell you something sister, never pass up a free vacation with a popular guy who wants to travel with YOU..

The next issue is this - how do you feel about this guy ? Any tingles?

I am not really sure about his motives but I can tell you this - men rarely ask a woman out on a date or a weekend away or a VACATION to deepen their "friendship " . You are in for a hot time IMO you lucky chick. Go for it - If he had asked me when I was single, I would have offered to pick him and and drive us both to the airport before he changed his mind.

As silly as Team America quotes can be, those posted by DanielMadr often ring true.

Do you think he has feelings for you? Are you trying to deny he may have feelings for you?

I would say do not go unless you have feelings for him. If he has feelings for you he'll be expecting something in return.

When you say girl a, b, or w...Is w referring to a wife, or you just happened to pick a letter separate from a and b?
