NedFlanders Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 I have a friend who within the last few years has become my best friend. I am in love with her, but I know it will never be and I have accepted that. I would never do anything that could harm our friendship. She is 7 years older than I am with a birthday coming up, and it just feels like "time is running out." I regret that we did not meet sooner because I would have done anything to have been her friend forever. Like I said though for some reason it just feels like time is running out on our friendship as she gets older. Why am I feeling this way. BTW, shes 43 and I am 36.
