jmmm Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 hey everyone, my b/f and i took a week break..we were arguing alot and he needed some breathing room..he said i could still contact him BUT i figured..if a person needs a break and some space, why contact them? i will just let that person come to me. We still agreed to be exclusive..and he made the move to contact me after a week. We finally met up yesterday and when i get in the passenger side..the seat was pulled more up than how i usually have it...my mind kind of went to thought of him having a girl or something in the car..its not like he was trying to clean anything and moved the seat up because there was still stuff on the floor etc etc. I chose not to ask because it would sound interrogating. My friend said it could mean a lot of things and not just that. Do you think its a bad idea to assume the worst like this?
LadyDi Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Could have been his Mom? Sister? Grandmother??? Don't jump to conclusions!
LucreziaBorgia Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 After reading this threads and your other ones, I think you definitely need to get help for your jealousy and insecurity or you will never find happiness in any relationship you are in. You are obsessed with the idea that you are being cheated on. You will drive away every person you get involved with if you continue on in this way.
carhill Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 My friend said it could mean a lot of things and not just that. Do you think its a bad idea to assume the worst like this? 1. Good friend 2. Yes
sparkle3 Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 i wouldnt jump to conclusions. my friends..family ect move the seat in my car all the time
Author jmmm Posted April 5, 2008 Author Posted April 5, 2008 yeah, well i know his family is never in the car and he wasn't cleaning anything so it made my mind wonder but it seems like everyone is giving really good advice.
Tyra Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 It's not good to assume everything, because in the end, you'll be the one that ends up looking like a fool. So don't jump to conclusions and making false accusations.
carhill Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 OP, what were his actions on the meet-up? You only spoke to what you saw in the car. Thinking honestly, if you saw this and formed an opinion, how would that color the rest of his actions in your mind? Do you see where I'm going with this? You're in charge of how you feel

My friend said it could mean a lot of things and not just that. Do you think its a bad idea to assume the worst like this? I think it's pretty obvious. He's been having it off with a midget that was on a week's leave from the circus, or a schoolkid who was on easter break from school. S/he had to return to the circus / school, and so he contacted you to get together again. In order to find out which it was, you'll need to see whether he asks you to squeeze into a cannon and get fired across the room to land in the bed as a form of foreplay, or elects to have you approach him at his desk with your homework for correction, his ruler waiting to spank your bottom for any errors. (Check also for any blobs of used chewing gum stuck under the dashboard.) Things could get a little more exciting in the bedroom - though I'd draw the line at having the tigers out of their cage. Enjoy!
LakesideDream Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Cut it out! Making up stuff to worry about will either put you into a fog, or the looney bin. BTW everytime I release my seat, passenger or driver to put something in back of the car, it slides forward. Put a coat in, slides forward. Put groceries in, slides forward. Forget it.
