mistieyed Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 I am wondering what the general thoughts are on this from the guys - girls, feel free to chime in as well as you have been there! A little background, I have been seeing someone for almost two months - after having sex he was extraordinarily affectionate (snuggling, back rubs, etc.) and was in no rush to go home. In past relationships, I have found that men are not as affectionate. I am assuming this is a great thing, but am wondering (since I have not been with a ton of men) if this is common or if it shows that he is truly into me, or just a freak of man nature Although many love the beginning stages of a relationship, it makes me cringe cause I have no idea what is to happen. Thanks.
Pyro Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 The guy is crazy for you. If he wasn't that into you, he would go to sleep or leave.
Horse Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Or it could just be the way he is. I was like that. Looking back... a lot of women assumed I was more serious.
Pyro Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 I wouldn't snuggle if I wasn't serious about the girl. I would just leave. Maybe some girls assume that the more time you spend with them that the more serious you are with them.
The Studmuffin Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 The guy is crazy for you. If he wasn't that into you, he would go to sleep or leave. but even if he was really into you, he might still just lay back and relax a bit. even if i adore the girl, i need to just lay back and close my eyes for a bit - take a break, enjoy the effect. and then... after a few minutes, who knows!? i wouldn't freak out if i were you. people are different. just relax and go with it. it's not something that defines his feelings for you or your relationship.

Thanks. Maybe your sexual endurance was too much for the other dudes and you either put them to sleep or knew enough to leave before going into cardiac arrest Now possibly you've met your match, and you're getting a 'thanks' via a backrub before the next round of sex. Seriously if you like this happening, why even question it and compare it to the past? Not worth the ounce of drama you're putting into it here.
Walk Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 In my experience it's a positive sign. The men I've been with who weren't serious found ways to get out of there soon after sex, the ones who were there for more then just sex tended to be more affectionate. But like anything, you have to take in the big picture.
