Patty Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 Im going to get even.My mother promised me she would bring me to the store today so I could pick up my things.Today she says well I cant bring you cause something else camp up.I said to her yes but you promised me.Shes like thats ok cause sometimes things change.Then she tells me she feels guilty about something else but not for me. So I'll think of some way to get even with her.I'm going to make a promise to her then,I'm not going to do it.Then she will see how I feel. Patty

Sometimes promises get broken and there's a good reason why, sometimes there's not. If your mother makes a habit out of breaking her promises to you then perhaps you should learn to rely on yourself more and less on her. Getting even just brings you down to their level, and why would you want to go there?
